Mark Hurd joined HP in early 2005 as chief executive officer and president and was named chairman of the board of directors in September 2006. With the goal of establishing HP as the world's leading technology company, Hurd has sharpened HP's strategic focus and concentrated its investments on three long-term growth opportunities: next-generation enterprise data center architecture and services; technologies for always connected, always personal mobile experiences; and a broad transition from analog to digital imaging and printing across the consumer, commercial and industrial markets. At the same time, Hurd has improved HP's operating efficiency and execution as well as its financial performance and customer focus. The result has been increasing growth and profitability, greater value for shareholders and customers, and a stronger competitive position in global IT markets. Between the company's 2004 and 2008 fiscal years, HP grew revenue from $80 billion to $118.4 billion and more than doubled its earnings per share. Prior to joining HP, Hurd spent 25 years at NCR Corp., where he held a variety of management, operations, and sales and marketing roles. He was named chief operating officer in 2002 and chief executive officer in 2003. Under his leadership, NCR reignited growth in its core businesses and improved from a net loss of $2.25 per share in 2002 to net income of $3.03 in 2004. Hurd is additionally a member of the News Corp. board of directors. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration in 1979 from Baylor University.

James Murdoch has been Non-Executive Chairman of Sky since December 2007 and a director of the company since February 2003. He was Chief Executive between November 2003 and December 2007. James is Chairman and CEO, Europe and Asia, at News Corporation and is a member of News Corporation’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Between May 2000 and November 2003, he was Chairman and CEO of Star. James also serves on the Board of YankeeNets and the Board of Trustees of the Harvard Lampoon and attended Harvard University.

Gaude Lydia Paez has joined Fox Broadcasting Company (FOX) as Vice President, Corporate Communications, it was announced today by Shannon Ryan, Senior Vice President, Publicity & Corporate Communications, to whom Ms. Paez will report. Ms. Paez will serve as a liaison between the network and the press on corporate matters including ratings performance, senior executive initiatives and industry-wide developments. In addition, she will act as a spokesperson for FBC on behalf of senior management and will participate in strategic planning for the FOX brand. Ms. Paez joins the company from Veoh Networks, Inc., an Internet television service. While at Veoh, she served as head of corporate communications, leading the company’s business, consumer and advertiser communications strategy. Prior to her tenure there, Ms. Paez was director of corporate communications for Web giant Yahoo!, Inc. In that post, she oversaw media and influencer relations, issues management and internal communications for the company’s multi-million dollar global search advertising and marketing products business. Ms. Paez began her career in New York at agencies BSMG Worldwide (now Weber Shandwick) and Burson-Marsteller Public Relations, where she honed her corporate media and crisis communications skills supporting Fortune 1000 clients across the technology, consumer electronics, telecommunications and financial services industries. Ms. Paez holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Harvard University in Cambridge, MA.
