- Applebee's same-store sales up with higher guest counts
- OVERLAND PARK, KAN. -- Applebee's International Inc., operator and franchisor of 1,648 namesake casual-dining restaurants, posted a 4.1-percent increase in systemwide same-store sales for the four weeks ended Nov. 21. Comparable-restaurant sales rose 4.8 percent at franchised Applebee's units and 1.9 percent at corporate restaurants.
