Mr. Guidroz joined AOI in 2007 after serving as Vice President of Finance for Tanox, Inc. since July 2002. At Tanox, he was responsible for the finance, investor relations, IT and purchasing functions and managed the sale of Tanox to Genentech, Inc. Before Tanox, Mr. Guidroz was a Partner with Tatum CFO Partners. Prior to this, Mr. Guidroz held CFO and Controller positions in the life sciences and technology industries. He has extensive experience in all areas of finance, investor relations, mergers and acquisitions and administration in both public and private companies. Mr. Guidroz earned his B.B.A. in Accounting from Lamar University and is a CPA.

Dr. Wang joined AOI in 2001, after leaving Hon Hai Precision Industries in Taipei, Taiwan. Dr. Wang received his Ph.D. in Electro-Optical Engineering from National Chiao-Tung University in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Before joining AOI, Dr. Wang was involved in optical module research and development in the Telecommunication Laboratories at Chung-Hwa Telecommunications in Taoyuan, Taiwan. Dr. Wang holds 7 U.S. and Taiwanese patents related to optoelectronic modules, and has authored numerous journal articles and conference presentations.

Stephan Kinsella is a registered patent attorney and General Counsel for Applied Optoelectronics, Inc., in Houston. Formerly a partner in the Intellectual Property Practice Group of Duane Morris LLP, he has over fourteen years' law firm and in-house experience in patent, IP, and general commercial and corporate law. He has extensive patent prosecution experience in computer, electronics, software, optoelectronics, oil & gas, and other technology, for clients such as Intel Corporation, Lucent Technologies, Agere Systems, General Electric, Motorola, Thomson Consumer Electronics, Sarnoff Corporation, Applied Optoelectronics, Inc., Burr-Brown (now Texas Instruments), Schlumberger, Baker Hughes, and UPS. (international business law, 1992) from King's College London-University of London; a JD (1991) from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Louisiana State University; and MSEE (1990) and BSEE (1987) degrees from Louisiana State University. He is licensed to practice before the Texas, Louisiana (inactive), and Pennsylvania (inactive) bars, and is registered to practice before the US Patent Office. Kinsella has taught as Adjunct Professor of computer law at South Texas College of Law, and has served as Chair of the Computer Law Subcommittee of the Federalist Society's IP Practice Group. He has published numerous articles and books about patent law, e-commerce law, international law and other topics, and is an author or editor of: International Investment, Political Risk, and Dispute Resolution: A Practitioner's Guide (Oceana/Oxford 2005), co-authored with Noah Rubins of Freshfields; Trademark Practice and Forms (2001-present); World Online Business Law (2003-present); Digest of Commercial Laws of the World (1998-present); Online Contract Formation (2004); and Protecting Foreign Investment Under International Law: Legal Aspects of Political Risk (1997).
