Kevin Holt joined Arab Bank Group plc in 2004 and has a proven record in organisational change management, delivering results within a multicultural environment; this has proved invaluable in his current role. A results driven and commercially focused Board level director, Kevin understands the requirements and challenges that rapid change and growth bring to an organisation and its people, both from an HR and line management perspective. In addition to his core strengths in Human Resources Management (HRM) Kevin has broadened his knowledge and experience through roles of Operations Director and Chief Executive. Kevin joined Arab Bank plc from Sun Bank plc (part of the global Sun Life of Canada Group, before its acquisition by Portman Building Society), where he was Chief Executive responsible for driving the delivery of strategic objectives and leadership of people issues during a period of major change and relocation of the business. Kevin successfully delivered change within timescale and budget, whilst continuing to deliver all business targets and maintain customer service, compliance and audit quality standards. Prior to achieving promotion in 2003 Kevin was Sun Bank's HR & Mortgage Operations Director. During his tenure in the role he implemented process management technology into mortgage new business operations, leading to an 80% increase in processing efficiency and a corresponding increase in residential mortgage new business volumes. He also led the relocation of the mortgage processing operations from Hertfordshire to Dorset. Between 1997 and 2002 Kevin was HR Director for the Bank, successfully re-structuring the HR Department from an historic focus on administration and welfare to one of strategic partnership and input. Kevin commenced his career in financial services through Household Bank plc's Management Training Programme. He stayed with the organisation for 14 years and was appointed HR Manager in 1992, leaving five years later to join Lloyds TSB Group as Retail Banking, Area Personnel Manager. In 1996 Kevin was appointed Senior Personnel & Development Manager, Private & International Banking. Educated in the UK, Kevin has undertaken the Chartered Institute of Personnel Qualification Programme and holds an MA in strategic HRM. He is a Fellow of the CIPD and an external examiner for Professional Management and CIPD qualifications.
