Phil Bussey is senior vice president of Corporate Affairs forWashington-based Puget Sound Energy (PSE), a subsidiary of Puget Energy (NYSE: PSD), a Fortune 1000 company. Bussey is responsible for corporate communications, major accounts, community relations, state and federal government relations, facilities and real estate at PSE. He also is the chairman and president of the Puget Sound Energy Foundation. Prior to joining PSE in 2003, Bussey served as the president of the Washington Roundtable, a statewide public policy research and advocacy group composed of 38 chief executive officers of major Washington state companies. He has also managed communications and public affairs issues for Rockwell International, Westinghouse Electric Corporation, and the Aluminum Company of America (ALCOA). Bussey is a member of the executive committees of the Seattle Chamber of Commerce and the Association of Washington Business. He also serves as the chairman of the University of Washington's School of Business executive education advisory council. Bussey is a member of the American Gas Association's leadership council and recently completed an appointment by Governor Gregoire to serve as a member of the K-12 advisory council to her education reform effort, "Washington Learns." A graduate of Brigham Young University, Bussey is married and has three children.

Jennifer O'Connor is senior vice president, general counsel and chief ethics and compliance officer for Puget Energy and Puget Sound Energy, with primary responsibilities for corporate legal and law department functions. O'Connor, who joined the company in 2003, has more than 20 years of legal experience, most recently as interim general counsel of Starbucks Corporation, where she had held positions within the office of general counsel since 1995. Prior to that, O'Connor was a counsel for Honda of America Mfg., and an attorney with Squire, Sanders & Dempsey of Columbus, Ohio, and Tobin and Tobin of San Francisco.
Eric Markell is senior vice president Energy Resources for Puget Sound Energy, with primary responsibilities for identifying the utility's requirements for new energy resources and acquiring the resources for both short- and long-term customer needs. Markell joined Puget Sound Energy in July 2002, bringing more than 20 years experience in the utility and energy industry. He previously has held executive positions with United American Energy Corp., Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp., and the Energy Research & Development Authority of the State of New York.
Kimberly Harris is senior vice president Regulatory Policy and Energy Efficiency. Since joining Puget Sound Energy in 1999, Harris has held several key positions with primary responsibilities for federal and state regulatory activities, energy load resource strategies and as associate general counsel. She previously served nine years as an attorney at Perkins Coie LLP and Wagstaff, Alvis, Stubbeman, Seamster and Longacre.
Paul Wiegand is vice president project development and contract management for Puget Sound Energy. Wiegand joined Puget Sound Energy in 1977 and has held several key management positions, including vice president of Corporate Planning, vice president of Risk Management and Strategic Planning, director of Information Technology, director of Corporate Projects, and director of Customer Service.
Grant Ringel is the director of customer market strategies at Puget Sound Energy. He has over 23 years of communications and marketing experience in both the electric and gas utility industry, and has served organizations in Louisiana, Oklahoma, Kentucky, and Washington. He is a graduate of the University of Kansas. Grant attended the Utility Executive Course in 2002.

Janet Gaines is a lifelong resident of the Puget Sound area. She is Puget Sound Energy's director of Customer Services and a graduate of UPS. Her interest in protecting our region's open lands and river basins began as maintenance manager for hydroelectric projects on the White, Snoqualmie and Puyallup rivers. During that time she was involved in implementing fisheries improvements with the Puyallup Tribe. She enjoys hiking, gardening and spending time with her two nieces.

Phyllis J. Campbell is lead independent director of Puget Energy and Puget Sound Energy. She has been president and chief executive officer of The Seattle Foundation since 2003. Prior to that she was chair of the Community Board of U.S. Bank, Washington from 2001 to 2003, and was the bank's president from 1993 to 2001. Campbell has been a director of Puget Energy since its incorporation in 1999 and of Puget Sound Energy since 1993.
