Mr. Vandewater joined Ardent in February 2001. He has more than 25 years health care management experience with a variety of national and international companies. In his career, he has overseen initiatives, including growing operations from $100 million to more than $20 billion.

With more than 23 years of health care experience, Bill Kellar leads Materials Management as vice president for Ardent Health Services. Based in Nashville, Tenn., Ardent owns and operates 11 acute care hospitals, two multi-specialty physician groups, a regional health plan and a nationally recognized medical laboratory. Bill has been with Ardent since 2003. Previously, Bill worked for the HCA Supply Chain Division on its Lawson Implementation Team and as senior implementation account manager for the HealthTrust Purchasing Group. He began his career with ProMedica Health System in Toledo, Ohio, serving in management positions in purchasing, warehouse distribution services, radiology and patient transportation. Bill holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Toledo.

Carlos A. Ferrer is a founding member of Ferrer Freeman & Company, LLC. Prior to creating FFC, Mr. Ferrer was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse First Boston. From 1982 through 1995, he developed and served as Head of CSFB's Global Health Care Investment Banking Group. He is Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Cancer Research Institute, and a member of the Board of Directors of Ardent Health Services, LLC, Concentra, Medpointe Pharmaceuticals Inc., OrthoRx Corporation, Volcano Corporation, and Preferred Care Partners Holding, Corp. He graduated Princeton University in 1976.
