Mr. McConn has over 25 years of industry experience as a geologist. Prior to joining Arena, Mr. McConn served as a geologist for Petromark Resources, Polaris Energy Development Company, MBR Resources, Inc., and Summit Exploration, LLC. His duties ranged from prospect generation and well site geology to the evaluation of oil & gas acquisition opportunities, as well as the evaluation of exploitation opportunities within existing company assets.
Mr. Wahl has 31 years of diversified petroleum land management experience with particular emphasis in the Mid-continent, Gulf Coast, Permian Basin and Rocky Mountain areas. Prior to joining Arena, Mr. Wahl served as a land manager for both Natomas, N.A., Inc. and Polaris Energy Development Company. His responsibilities ranged from the preparation of a prospect for drilling, including lease acquisition, farmout negotiation and regulatory compliance, to corporate mergers. Mr. Wahl also served nine years as Vice President, Oil and Gas Administrator, Trust Oil and Gas Services for the Bank of Oklahoma. During his tenure, the department experienced three-fold growth in all areas to become one of the largest mineral management organizations in the country. Mr. Wahl is a Certified Professional Landman and is currently a member of the Tulsa Association of Professional Landmen and the American Association of Professional Landmen.
Over the past 28 years, Mr. McCabe has overseen the drilling and completion of over 200 oil and gas wells, and has been instrumental in raising over $60 million in drilling funds. From 1980 to 1985, Mr. McCabe directed the drilling and operation of over 150 wells in Oklahoma with a completion rate in excess of 80%. In 1982, Stanton Energy, Inc., a company formed by Mr. McCabe, was ranked 24th out of over 2,500 operators in Oklahoma according to the Oklahoma Corporation Commission drilling and completion activity records. In 1989, Mr. McCabe became a co-founder of Magnum Petroleum, Inc., assisting the company in evaluating projects and aligning the company with strategic industry partners in Oklahoma. Mr. McCabe became a board member after the acquisition of Hunter Resources, Inc. assisting in a smooth management transition. Mr. McCabe resigned in 1996 to pursue other interests.
Mr. Seglem has over 19 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Arena, Mr. Seglem was Vice President Drilling and Production for Royalty Exploration, Inc. / Regal Gas Corporation where he supervised all aspects of the company’s drilling and production activities. The company was exclusively involved in the exploitation of the Yates Gas reservoir in Andrews County, Texas. Mr. Seglem was also a co-founder and largest interest owner in the Embar Field, Yates Gas Project, Andrews County, Texas, where his duties included lease operations, acreage acquisitions, drilling and well completions.
Mr. Gaines has over 34 years of industry experience as a petroleum and reservoir engineer. Prior to joining Arena, Mr. Gaines served as a reservoir engineer for Texaco, Inc., Chaparral Energy and Mid-Con Energy. His duties included detailed evaluations of old field reservoirs, the evaluation and design of waterfloods and CO2 floods, reservoir characterization, complex geological development and reserve analysis. He also served as a petroleum engineer for GYM Resources and High Plains Production Company, where he was responsible for the generation and development of oil and gas prospects, waterflood design and analysis and redevelopment of mature fields.
After graduating from Kansas State University, Pittsburg, Kansas, with a BSBA in Accounting, Clayton began his professional career with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. (now KPMG) in the firm's Tulsa, Oklahoma, office, where he was employed from 1965 to 1975 in the tax department. During his tenure at Peat Marwick, Clayton became a partner and was Partner-in-Charge of the Tulsa Tax Department from 1973 through 1975. In 1975, Clayton joined BancOklahoma Corporation and Bank of Oklahoma as Chief Financial Officer where he served in that capacity until 1980. In 1980, Clayton returned to Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co. as Partner-in-Charge of the Tulsa Tax Department and the firm's Financial Institutions Tax Practice. In 1984, he became senior partner in the Tulsa, Oklahoma, based accounting firm of Clayton, Kemendo, Tate & Cuite, PLLC. In addition to his Certified Public Accountant's license, Clayton is a Certified Valuation Analyst and Investment Advisor Representative. He has served on numerous boards and trust authorities including the Tulsa Industrial Authority, University Center at Tulsa Foundation and the Hillcrest Medical Center Foundation.

Mr. Rochford has been active in the oil and gas industry since 1973. During that time, he has been an operator of wells in the mid-continent of the United States, evaluated leasehold drilling and production projects and arranged and raised over $50 million in private and public financing for oil and gas projects. Mr. Rochford has successfully formed, developed and sold/merged 3 natural resource companies, the most recent being Magnum Petroleum, Inc. ("Magnum"). Mr. Rochford was instrumental in the formation of Magnum in 1989, and the $10 million of public and private financing which followed. He orchestrated Magnum's acquisition of Hunter Resources, Inc. in 1995, becoming Magnum Hunter Resources, Inc. (NYSE: MHR), and remained with the company as its chairman until resigning in 1997 to pursue other interests.
National Marketing Director for Adaptive Communications Systems, Inc. From 1987 to 1990, Mr. Morley served as a wholesaler for Huntington Energy Corporation. In 1993, Mr. Morley organized Petro Consultants, Inc. and since then has served on the board of directors of a number of public and private companies among which are Arena Resources, Inc., Essential Solutions, Inc., and Green EnviroTek, Inc. Mr. Morley is a graduate of California State University, Chico, and he became a registered principal in 1973 with North Pacific Securities, Inc.
