Michael D. Weiner. Mr. Weiner has served as one of our directors since April 2006. Mr. Weiner was nominated for election by Apollo. Since September 2006, Mr. Weiner has served as Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel of Ares Management, Inc., a private investment management firm. From 1992 until August 2006, Mr. Weiner served as the General Counsel of Apollo Management, L.P. Before joining Apollo in 1992, Mr. Weiner was a partner with Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, specializing in securities law, public and private financings, and corporate and commercial transactions. David B. Kaplan has been Chairman of our Board of Directors since April 2005 and a director of Maidenform Brands since May 2004. Mr. Kaplan is a member of Ares Management and has served as a Partner in the Private Equity Group of Ares Management since April 2003. From 2000 through 2003, Mr. Kaplan was a Senior Principal of Shelter Capital Partners, LLC. From 1991 through 2000, Mr. Kaplan was affiliated with, and a Senior Partner of, Apollo Management, L.P., and its affiliates, where he served on various Boards of Directors including Allied Waste Industries, Inc., Dominick's Supermarkets Inc. and WMC Finance Co. Prior to that, Mr. Kaplan was an investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities Corp. Mr. Goldstein joined Ares in May 2005 and serves as a Partner in the Private Debt Group. In addition, Mr. Goldstein serves as an Investment Committee member of both Ares Capital Management LLC and Ares Capital Europe. Prior to joining Ares, Mr. Goldstein worked at Credit Suisse First Boston, where he was a Managing Director in the Financial Sponsors Group. At CSFB, Mr. Goldstein was responsible for providing investment banking services to private equity funds and hedge funds with a focus on M&A and restructurings and capital raisings, including high yield, bank debt, mezzanine debt and IPOs. Mr. Goldstein joined CSFB in 2000 at the completion of the merger with Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette. From 1998 to 2000, Mr. Goldstein was at Indosuez Capital, where he was a member of the Investment Committee and a Principal, responsible for originating, structuring and executing leveraged transactions across a broad range of products and asset classes. From 1993 to1998, Mr. Goldstein worked at Bankers Trust, where he was responsible for financing and advising clients in various industries including media and telecommunications, consumer products, automotive and healthcare. Mr. Goldstein began his career as a CPA at Ernst & Young. Mr. Goldstein graduated summa cum laude from SUNY Binghamton with a BS in Accounting and received an MBA from Columbia Business School.
