Arkansas Best Corp.

ABF Freight System, Inc. Mr. Davidson was named Chief Executive Officer of Arkansas Best Corporation in February 2006. Prior to that, he had been the President and Chief Operating Officer of Arkansas Best Corporation since January 2005. He has been a director of Arkansas Best Corporation since December of 2004. Throughout his tenure as an officer and board member at Arkansas Best Corporation, Mr. Davidson has continued to serve as President and Chief Executive Officer of ABF Freight System, Inc.

Mr. Meyers has been Vice President of Arkansas Best Corporation since October 2001. He served as Chairman and CEO of Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems, LLC from October 2000 to September 2001, and as President and CEO of Treadco, Inc. from October 1995 to October 2000. Mr. Meyers was Vice President-Treasurer of Arkansas Best Corporation from 1979 to 1995, and Treasurer of Treadco, Inc. from June 1991 to 1995. Mr. Meyers began his career with the Company in December 1973 as Director of Internal Audit.

Alan J. Zakon has served as a Director of the Corporation since 1988, on the Compensation and Benefits Committee since 1997 and its Chairman since January 2005 and on the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee since January 2004 and the Strategic Planning Committee since March 2006. Dr. Zakon served as Managing Director of Bankers Trust Corporation from 1989 to 1995 where he was Chairman of the Strategic Policy Committee. Dr. Zakon is a Director and a member of the Audit Committee of Arkansas Best Corporation, a nationwide commercial transportation and trucking company. Dr. Zakon holds a B.A. from Harvard University, an M.S. in Industrial Management from the Sloan School at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. in Economics and Finance from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Mr. Edelstein has served on our Board of Directors since 1984. Mr. Edelstein has been a Vice President of Stone Creek Capital, Inc., an investment banking firm, since November 1986. From 1979 to November 1986, he was Chairman of the Board of International Central Bank & Trust Company, which was acquired by Continental Insurance Co. in July 1983. Mr. Edelstein is currently a director of Arkansas Best Corp. and IHOP Corp. Mr. Edelstein obtained a B.A. degree in Mathematics from NYU in 1948.

John W. Alden has served as a director of D&B since December 2002, and is chairman of the Board Affairs Committee and a member of the Compensation & Benefits Committee. Mr. Alden served with United Parcel Service, Inc. (UPS), the largest express package carrier in the world, for 35 years, serving on UPS’s board of directors from 1988 to 2000. His most recent role was as vice chairman of the board of UPS from 1996 until his retirement in 2000. Mr. Alden is also a director of the following public companies: Arkansas Best Corporation, Barnes Group, Inc. and Silgan Holdings, Inc.
