MICHELLE VANALLEN is the Supervisor of Records and Administrative Services at Santee Cooper. There, she manages the records program, promotes records management at Santee Cooper, oversees the imaging program, maintains the corporate retention schedule and serves on the enterprise content management implementation team. Prior to managing records at Santee Cooper, she worked at Buist Moore Smythe McGee law firm in Charleston, SC as the Administrative Services Manager. There she implemented the records management program which included the challenge of classifying legal records dating back to the 1800's. Michelle holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the College of Charleston and an MBA from Charleston Southern University. She served as the president of the local ARMA (Association of Records Managers & Administrators) chapter for two terms in 2000 and 2001. She has also served as Treasurer and a member of the board of directors. She has served as the chapter newsletter editor and webmaster. She has won the Chapter Member of the Year award twice and the Rookie of the Year once. She is also a member of SCPRA (South Carolina Public Records Association) and AIIM (Association of Image and Information Managers). In 2006, she was honored with the SCPRA Region Service Award.

PATTIE BEERMAN is a native South Carolinian who first started in the records management field with Colonial Life & Accident Insurance Company in 1981 as a Senior Records Clerk. She was promoted to Lead Records clerk in 1984 and quickly moved up to Records Administration Supervisor in 1985, a position she held for 8 years. Her knowledge and dedication to the job then led to her promotion as the manager of the Micro Imaging Services Department. In 1995 Pattie was hired by Smith Records Management, as the Director of the Columbia market. Iron Mountain Records Management purchased Smith Records in November of 2001, where Pattie is currently a Sales Representative for the Leader in Records Management.

Mr. Strickland brings over 20 years of management and programming experience in database, application, network, EDI, and Enterprise solutions across the entire spectrum of information management in his position as Director of Technology Development for SSC. Instrumental in developing and designing major business systems in the manufacturing, internet, and healthcare industries throughout his career, he has held executive positions with these organizations providing leadership in innovative, technologically advanced systems over the past 12 years. Mr. Strickland has extensive knowledge of real-time, high-volume, performance critical applications that require implementation in a fault-tolerant network design with a 24/7 operation. These systems deliver cutting-edge technologies, seamless integration with business partners, and intuitive web experiences for users. Mr. Strickland has held senior positions with Apractis Solutions, LLC; Laxor, LLC; Virtual Image Technology Inc, MedCath, Inc.; Duracell, North America; and ITT Rayonier Inc. He is a member of the Association of Information Technology Professionals, ARMA International, American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), Information Systems Security Association and the Microsoft Partner Program. Mr. Strickland holds a BBA in Computer Science and Information Systems from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia.

Melissa Dederer is a member of ARMA International and two chapters: Connecticut and Metro New York City. She is the Immediate Past-President of the Connecticut chapter, Executive Vice President/President Elect of the Metro New York City chapter and Chapter Foundation Champion for ARMA's International Educational Foundation. Melissa's background encompasses over 20 years of records management, project management and automation, primarily within the legal industry. As Manager at KPMG, Melissa provides records and information management consulting services.

Susan Priebe has been a member of the LMA board since September 2005, and started as a volunteer at LMA's Seattle Pride events. She is a Records Analyst at PEMCO. She is a member of ARMA International, AIIM Northwest, and a volunteer for UNICEF. Susan comes to the issue of marriage equality as a non-gay supporter of full equality for LGBT people.

Timothy M. Opsitnick is Senior Partner and General Counsel of JurInnov Ltd. ( JurInnov ). JurInnov's consulting practice focuses on the application of technology solutions to challenging litigation demands of law firms and their clients, including the development of litigation and document management systems, document and electronic data warehousing, electronic discovery processing and consulting, electronic risk management consulting, and computer forensics. JurInnov's client base includes United States and International law firms and companies. Tim Opsitnick is at the forefront of practitioners addressing issues involved in the discovery of electronic documents. He is currently a participant in the Sedona Conference's Working Group Series on Best Practices for Electronic Document Retention and Production and a contributor to the Working Group's publication, "The Sedona Principles: Best Practice Recommendations and Principles Addressing Electronic Document Production" (Revised January 2004) and a contributor and editor to the publication, "The Sedona Guidelines: Best Practice Guidelines & Commentary for Managing Information & Records in the Electronic Age" (Revised September 2005). He is also a contributor to "Information Security for Lawyers and Law Firms" written by the Information Security Committee of the Section of Science and Technology Law of the American Bar Association and the Law Practice Management Section (April 2006). Mr. Opsitnick is a member of the Georgetown University Law Center Continuing Legal Education Advisory Board where he assists in the development of programs for its E-Discovery Institute. Furthermore, he is on the Advisory Board for the E-Discovery Track for the American Bar Association's Annual TechShow. He has also conducted numerous continuing legal education seminars regarding electronic discovery and other technology issues. He is also the Vice Chair of the Cleveland Bar Association's E-Publication/Technology Committee. Crain's Cleveland Business acknowledged Mr. Opsitnick's contribution to legal technology in their Who's Who in Technology 2004. JurInnov is a member of the Cleveland Downtown Tech 25, where Mr. Opsitnick sits on the Steering Committee. Mr. Opsitnick was with the firm of Jones, Day, Reavis, and Pogue from 1986 until 2000, where he was a member of the Litigation and Product Liability sections. His practice concentrated in the management of complex, multi-district litigation. Mr. Opsitnick is a 1982 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University (Phi Beta Kappa; cum laude; B.A., with honors in Political Science and Psychology) and a 1985 graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He was admitted to practice in Ohio in 1985 and has also appeared as counsel pro hoc vice in numerous jurisdictions by leave of court. He is a member of the American Bar Association, International Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, Cleveland Bar Association, Cuyahoga County Bar Association, ARMA International, and InfraGard.

Mr. Walden is an investor and businessman based in Atlanta, Georgia. Donnie has held numerous management positions in several prominent Fortune 100 companies including responsibility over the information assets at Turner Properties (the management group for TBS, TNT, HBO, CNN, etc.); a Time WarnerA company. He has been a member of ARMA International for over fifteen years, has spoken at numerous corporate and industry events and is well recognized in the information management industry; especially among the top records management professionals in Atlanta. Donnie manages one of the nationa s premier archival accounts of information assets including huge libraries of film, documents, tape and other media. He has intimate familiarity with the information storage industry and understands both the strengths and weaknesses, from the customera s perspective, of local operators as well as the industrya s largest companies. He is an angel investor for a number of entrepreneurs including a recent start-up in the flooring business.
