A yellow ribbon company! Armor Holdings, Inc. headquartered in Jacksonville, FL, makes security products and vehicle armor systems. Its clients are law enforcement, military, homeland security, and commercial markets. It provides ballistic and blast protection-armoring systems, for Humvees and other military vehicles, as well as seating systems, air bags, and armor for military helicopters and body armor for troops. It also makes bullet-resistant vests and flak jackets, hard armor, and nonlethal products. The company was founded in 1969, has revenue of $1.6 billion, and employs about 4,300 people. In July 2005 the company acquired the assets of Second Chance Body Armor, Inc., a manufacturer of body armor serving the law enforcement and military markets for $45 million in cash. In August 2005, Armor Holdings was recognized by FORTUNE Magazine as one of the '100 Fastest Growing Companies.'

Doug Goforth, CPA, was appointed Corporate Controller and Assistant Treasurer for Armor Holdings in December 2006. Philip A. Baratelli, 41, has served as our Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Treasurer since February 2007. Since February 2007, Mr. Baratelli has also served as Chief Financial Officer for Kanders & Company, Inc., a private investment firm principally owned and controlled by Mr. Warren B. Kanders that makes investments in and provides consulting services to public and private entities. Since April 2007, Mr. Baratelli has served as the Chief Financial Officer for Highlands Acquisition Corp., a publicly-held blank check company formed with a focus on acquiring a business in the healthcare industry. Prior to the completion of the acquisition of Armor Holdings, Inc., by BAE Systems plc on July 31, 2007, Mr. Sokolow served as a member of the Board of Directors of Armor Holdings, Inc. since January 1996.
