In 1996 he was appointed managing director of Securicor Cash Services (UK) and he became chief executive of the security division of Securicor in 1999. Nick was appointed to the board of Securicor plc in 2000 and became its chief executive in January 2002. Following Law School, Steve joined Slaughter & May's tax planning and commercial departments. In 1975 he joined the Legal Department of Imperial Chemical Industries plc.
