George Fugelsang is the former Chief Executive Officer of Dresdner Kleinwort Benson North America, former Chairman of the Board of Dresdner Bank Mexico, S.A., former Chairman of the Board of Dresdner Bank Canada, and a member of the Board of Dresdner RCM Global Investors LLC. Prior to joining the Dresdner family, Mr. Fugelsang served as the Managing Director in Morgan Stanley s Investment Banking Division in London and spent more than twenty years at Citicorp/Citibank in various positions throughout the United States, Latin America, and Central, Southern, and Eastern Europe. Mr. Fugelsang serves as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Institute of International Bankers, and is a member of the Board of Trustees of Thunderbird (the American Graduate School of International Management) and the Board of Trustees of the Arthur F. Burns Fellowship. He is also a member of the Board of the German American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. and a Fellow of the Foreign Policy Association of New York. He graduated from the University of Oregon in 1962 with a dual major in Economics and Political Science. He continued his studies, pursuing a degree in foreign trade at the American Graduate School of International Management in Phoenix, Arizona, where he graduated with honors as the class valedictorian in 1963.
