Michael Sullivan has been our Vice President of Quality Assurance since February 1999. Prior to joining us he spent 10 months as the Quality Manager for Dynapace Corporation where he developed an ISO9001 compliant quality system for the manufacturer of conveyor systems for the electronics assembly industry. From November 1987 to November 1997, Michael held several positions with Teltrend, Inc, a telecommunications equipment manufacturer. From September 1995 to November 1997, he was the Quality Manager-Procurement. During the time from August 1996 to December 1996 he was the Acting Assistant Vice President of Quality. From November 1987 to September 1995 he was the Quality Inspection Manager. Michael started his career in Quality in 1980 with Bally Electronics, a division of Bally Manufacturing where he was the Quality Control Manager. Michael has 20 years experience in Quality Management. Nineteen years have been in electronics manufacturing, including 11 years in the telecommunications industry. His focus has been in quality systems development, continuous process improvement, and customer satisfaction, both internal and external. Mr. Sapp served as co-chairman of the Sanmina-SCI Board of Directors from December 2001 to December 2002 and continues to serve as a director of Sanmina-SCI. In 1962, Mr. Sapp joined SCI and after holding several positions, was promoted to president and chief operating officer in 1981. In July 1999, Mr. Sapp was appointed chief executive officer of SCI and served as chairman of the board and chief executive officer from July 2000 until our merger with SCI. Mr. Sapp currently serves as a director of Artesyn Technologies.
