Mr. Harvey is Co-Chief Executive Officer of The Ashforth Company, a full-service real estate operating company specializing in office properties. The Company has interests in Fairfield County, CT, Boston, Philadelphia, Seattle and Portland, OR. Prior to joining Ashforth in 1978, Mr. Harvey was an attorney at the Boston law firm of Hill & Barlow and worked for the Bedford-Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation in Brooklyn, New York. Mr. Harvey serves on the Board of Directors of Paradigm Holdings, Warburg Realty Partnership, and Benchmark Assisted Living. Mr. Harvey is a member and former Chairman of the Board of the Stamford Hospital and also serves on the Board and Executive Committee of SACIA, The Business Council of Southwestern Connecticut. He is a former member of the Boards of St. Mark's School and St. George's School, and a former member of the Young Presidents' Organization. He is currently a member of World Presidents' Organization, Chief Executives' Organization and the Urban Land Institute. Mr. Harvey is a cum laude graduate of Harvard College and holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia Law School, where he was an editor of the Virginia Law Review.
