In his role as Chief Financial Officer, Gerald has broad responsibility for all aspects of Asurion's financial strategy and operations. Gerald is also involved in the Company's international growth strategy and the Company's corporate development efforts. Prior to joining Asurion in 1999, Gerald advised companies in a number of industries on a wide variety of financial and strategic matters as an investment banker with Goldman, Sachs & Co. in San Francisco, Hong Kong and New York. Gerald has also worked for Hambrecht and Quist, LLC, and Toronto Dominion Capital. He holds an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar, and a bachelor's degree in commerce with honors from Queen's University.

Ben is responsible for subscriber and revenue growth, maintenance and daily activities of Asurion's wireless carrier client base and leadership of the company's entire client services team. He brings over eighteen years of experience in the wireless industry to Asurion. Most of Ben's career has been with Verizon Wireless/GTE, where he served in several senior management positions including Area President for South Central Area of Verizon Wireless, Vice President of Sales at GTE Wireless, and VP/GM for GTE Wireless California. Ben also served as President for AT&T Wireless in their fixed wireless business. Ben lives in the Dallas area with his wife and two daughters and is a graduate of Michigan State University.

He also has experience in Mergers & Acquisitions investment banking with Salomon Brothers. He earned an M.B.A. from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business and holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from McGill University. Mr. Taweel is a recent recipient of the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award.

Mr. Grousbeck is a Consulting Professor of Management at Stanford Business School, where he began teaching in 1985. From 1981 to 1985, Mr. Grousbeck was a Lecturer at Harvard University, Graduate School of Business Administration. Mr. Grousbeck was a co-founder of Continental Cablevision, Inc. where he served as President from 1964 to 1980 and Chairman of the Board of Directors from 1980 to 1985. Peter Wilde is a Managing Director of Providence. Mr. Wilde is currently a director of Education Management Corp., Kerasotes Theatres, Inc., Medical Media Holdings, Pluris Inc. and Survey Sampling International and is chairman of Colorado Cinema Group, Study Island LLC and The Vendome Group.
