Dow Jones Description
The company opened it's doors in June of 1973 with a standing 34 year relationship with Southeast Toyota and subsequently founded ATC Logistics. Since then, ATC has added Lexus, Mercedes Benz, Nissan, and Chrysler as long-time customers. Since 2002, the Company has strategically refocued its efforts on providing a high level of customer service to the "import" brands of new cars in the Southeast US. Management believes this strategy fits well with the non-union workforce at ATC. ATC is one of the largest non-union automobile transport companies in the Southeast United States. The Company provides point-to-point moves for new vehicle manufacturers, distributers, and dealers. In the fiscal year ended December 31, 2005, ATC transported over 415,000 vehicles for customers including Southeast Toyota, Mercedes Benz N.A., Lexus, Nissan, and Chrysler. Over 99% of all deliveries are made on company owned and/or operated by the Company. Less than 1% is brokered to outside carriers on an annual basis. We currently operate out of 6 terminals.
