ATEL Capital Group

Dean L. Cash, age 58, joined ATEL as director of marketing in 1980 and has been a vice president since 1981, executive vice president since 1983 and a director since 1984. He has been President and CEO since April 2001. Prior to joining ATEL, Mr. Cash was a senior marketing representative for Martin Marietta Corporation, data systems division, from 1979 to 1980. From 1977 to 1979, he was employed by General Electric Corporation, where he was an applications specialist in the medical systems division and a marketing representative in the information services division. Mr. Cash was a systems engineer with Electronic Data Systems from 1975 to 1977, and was involved in maintaining and developing software for commercial applications. Mr. Cash received a B.S. degree in psychology and mathematics in 1972 and an M.B.A. degree with a concentration in finance in 1975 from Florida State University. Mr. Cash is an arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association.

Jana Tostrude joined ATEL Securities Corp as Vice President Broker Dealer Relations. In this role, Ms. Tostrude is responsible for managing key accounts. Prior to joining ATEL, Ms. Tostrude worked in fixed income for Wells Fargo Institutional Brokerage & Sales. Ms. Tostrude spent 10 years in New York most recently with Joseph E. Seagram & Sons Inc, working on the acquisition of PolyGram Records and the creation of the Universal Music Group. In this role she was responsible for structuring corporate facilities and managing commercial & investment banking relationships. Ms. Tostrude has been in the financial services industry since 1990, including corporate banking experience relative to the syndication and structuring of off-balance sheet leases. Ms. Tostrude holds a bachelors degree in finance from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an M.B.A from Vanderbilt University. She has also completed Level 2 of the CFA.

Don N Aquilano has served as a member of our board of directors since May 2002 and as the chairman of our board of directors and a member of the audit committee since May 2005. He joined our nominating and governance committee in August 2007. Since 2000, Mr. Aquilano has served as managing director and president of Gazelle TechVentures, a venture capital fund. Mr. Aquilano holds a BS from the University of Arizona and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Donald R. Caldwell is founder and chairman of Cross Atlantic Capital Partners. Don oversees the operations of all of Cross Atlantic's offices and focuses a significant amount of his time on the growth of the Cross Atlantic franchise through fund raising, network development, and deal flow. He works closely with several portfolio companies, including: Brainspark, Kanbay, Mobile Cohesion, and Rubicon Technology. Prior to the formation of Cross Atlantic in March 1999, he was president and chief operating officer of Safeguard Scientifics, Inc. (NYSE: SFE). Additionally, he served as chairman of Safeguard's investment committee and led the formation of SCP Private Equity Partners (a $265 million late stage venture investment fund) and Pennsylvania Early Stage Partners (a $50 million seed and early stage fund). Don held a number of executive and financial positions, including chief administrative officer of a predecessor company of Cambridge Technology Partners, Inc. (NASDAQ: CATP), a provider of information technology consulting and software development; and partner in the national office of Arthur Young & Co., a predecessor of Ernst & Young, LLP. Prior to joining Safeguard, Don held an executive position of a predecessor company of Cambridge Technology Partners, a provider of information technology consulting and software development; and was a partner in the national office of Arthur Young & Co., a predecessor to Ernst & Young, LLP. Don serves on several boards of publicly and privately held companies and civic organizations, including Diamond Cluster, Inc. (NASDAQ: DTPI), Quaker Chemical Corporation (NYSE: KWR), Kanbay International (NASDAQ: KBAY), Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (Chairman), Philadelphia Orchestra Association, and the Committee for Economic Development. Don is a CPA in the State of New York and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Babson College and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Harvard University. He is located in the Radnor office.

Michael E Mikolajczyk served as a member of our board from June 2001 until May 2002 and rejoined our board of directors in March 2004. Additionally, Mr. Mikolajczyk has served as a member of our audit committee and compensation committee since March 2004. Since September 2003, Mr. Mikolajczyk has served as managing director of Catalyst Capital Management, LLC, a private equity firm. From 2001 through 2003, Mr. Mikolajczyk worked as an independent consultant providing business and financial advisory services to early stage and mid-cap companies. Mr. Mikolajczyk also served as vice chairman of Diamond Management & Technology Consultants, Inc., a management and technology consulting firm, from 2000 to 2001, president from 1998 to 2000 and chief financial officer from 1994 to 1998. Mr. Mikolajczyk served as chief financial officer of Technology Solutions Company, a business solutions provider, from 1992 to 1994. Mr. Mikolajczyk currently serves as a director of Diamond Management & Technology Consultants, Inc. Mr. Mikolajczyk is a CPA in the State of Michigan and holds a BS in business from Wayne State University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
