Mackey co-founded O'Donnell/Atkins in 1992 to offer a higher level of brokerage and advisory services to land sellers, buyers, builders, and developers throughout California. As a thirty-year veteran of the real estate industry with extensive experience throughout the private and public sectors, Mackey serves an invaluable leadership role. As a public sector planner and planning director, Mackey acquired keen insight into the dynamics of public planning agencies and politics. Mackey has applied his expertise in this area, time and again, to help O'Donnell/Atkins' clients identify ideal development opportunities. As a private sector planning consultant, Mackey became highly skilled in the design and entitlement of real estate projects optimizing their value in light of every kind of physical, environmental, political, and economic constraint. Prior to founding O'Donnell/Atkins, Mackey served as Director of Land Development for The Warmington Company. While at Warmington, Mackey led the acquisition and build-out of a number of projects, including a 4,000-acre/13,000-unit master planned community, which involved the installation of over $50 million of backbone infrastructure and land sales of over $100 million to merchant builders. As Principal for O'Donnell/Atkins, Mackey concentrates on the identification of master planned community opportunities and the development of successful master developer sales programs for merchant builders.

Roddy is a Senior Project Manager with Atkins Programme Management, specialising in the strategic planning and delivery of major programmes of work. His recent experience includes the management of Data Houses and communication facilities for Vodafone, MCI and IBM. He is skilled in the organisation and management of multi-disciplined teams during the delivery of major projects. Able to organise procurement, contract administrational and design management systems. Roddy has worked as a Consultant Project Manager with Atkins since 1999 and is experienced in the Project Management of large capital projects and programme management for a number of key clients, including IBM, Vodafone, MCI and Barrett Homes and the Corporation of London. He has proven ability in working with both internal and external multi-disciplined teams and client bodies in the successful delivery of projects. He has key experience in both the initial set up of a project together with a number of existing projects where recovery regime has been required in order to meet the client's key aspirations.

As a Chartered Building Surveyor, Blair has 16 years experience in asset management; building surveying; project management and development monitoring. His thorough and professional attributes have ensured exceptional levels of managerial and technical skills, delivering high standards of service to clients. Blair has worked with Atkins for the last 12 years and was previously with the Property Services Agency.

Christopher, a co-founder, reinforces our mission with his enthusiasm for tunnelling, strong connection to the industry, and technical ability, to augment the knowledge of the forum. Christopher, a Chartered Engineer in the UK, has a varied experience in both Consulting and Contracting throughout the UK and Europe, working on many landmark Civil Engineering projects. Through working with Haswell Consulting Engineers in London, Christopher was involved with the detailed design of the Dublin Port Tunnel Project in Ireland, working on various different construction packages as a Design Engineer. This included detailed design of the main cross over tunnels in hard rock, Diaphragm walling for the cut and cover section, and design of the complex railway underpass temporary structure. Following from this, Christopher is currently employed by Atkins ltd to undertake principal inspection and assessment of the stations and running tunnel structures within the Bakerloo, Central and Victoria Line for London Underground.

Robert is a consultant for Atkins, and handles the majority of our Property and Commercial work. Robert had the dubious pleasure of sitting next to Graham for a year at Guildford College of Law, but still managed to qualify in 1991 with Greene and Greene in Bury St Edmonds. He later set up his own successful law firm before becoming a partner with a firm in Newmarket. Robert has a diverse selection of his own business interests, including a Business Development Consultancy that specialises in helping businesses achieve their potential through marketing and business growth strategies. This combination of commercial and legal experience ensures that Robert has the insight to give our clients the relevant and practical advice they need. Now based in rural Suffolk, Robert makes the most of the location by perusing the local produce markets to advance his passion for food (always complemented by a fine wine which has escaped from his collection). He also enjoys travelling, which is fortunate as he spends much of his free time ferrying his young family around.

James Atkins is a Member of Duffy & Atkins LLP. Throughout his career he has dedicated himself to assisting clients in achieving results in a timely and efficient manor. While Mr. Atkins' legal work is focused on guiding clients through the bankruptcy process, Mr. Atkins has assisted many clients in litigation matters and corporate business issues. Prior to joining Duffy & Atkins, Mr. Atkins worked for the law firms of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP and Allen & Overy LLP in their financial restructuring practices. During this time, Mr. Atkins represented secured and unsecured creditors, Chapter 11 debtors, banks and financial institutions, and investors in distressed assets in bankruptcy proceedings, restructurings, workouts, and commercial transactions. Mr. Atkins was also regularly involved in commercial litigation.
