Patrick Reutens has served as Atmel s Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary since September 2006 and has been Senior Vice President since January 2009. Previously, he was Chief Legal Officer of Silicon Image, Inc., a provider of semiconductor and IP solutions, from October 2004 to September 2006. Prior to that, Mr. Reutens worked at Immersion Corporation, a developer of tactile feedback technology and products, serving from October 2003 to September 2004 as Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Legal Affairs and from September 2001 to October 2003 as Vice President, Strategic Relationships and Legal Affairs. Previously, Mr. Reutens worked at Preview Systems, MIPS Technologies, Venture Law Group and at Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati. Mr. Reutens holds a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Western Australia, a PhD in Physics from the University of Chicago and a J.D. from Yale Law School.

Tom Wasilczyk joined Atmel in November, 2006. Mr. Wasilczyk previously served at Sun Microsystems, Inc. where he was Vice President of Information Technology Operations. Mr. Wasilczyk was responsible for worldwide IT operations including data center, network, voice and desktop systems. Prior to Sun, Mr. Wasilczyk held managerial positions within the IT organization at Tandem Computers and was formerly a management and systems consultant. Mr. Wasilczyk holds an M.S. degree in industrial engineering from Stanford University.

Rod Erin has served as Atmel s Vice President, RFA Segment since May 2008, in addition to serving as Vice President, Non-Volatile Memory Segment since August 2007. Prior to that, Mr. Erin served as Vice President of Atmel s Advanced Products Group from July 2005 to August 2007. Mr. Erin joined Atmel in 1989 and has held various management positions in Atmel s planning, operational, and IT organizations. Prior to joining Atmel, Mr. Erin spent 16 years with other semiconductor manufacturing companies, including Texas Instruments, Inmos, and Honeywell in a variety of IT management positions. Mr. Erin holds degrees from the University of Illinois (B.S.E.E and M.B.A). Yang Chiah Yee was appointed Vice President of Sales, Asia Pacific in March, 2008. Mr. Yee brings over 18 years of semiconductor industry sales experience, most recently from Xilinx, Inc. where he held the position of VP of Sales, Asia Pacific. Previously he was President of Asia Pacific for Memec. Mr. Yee received his Bachelors degree in Engineering from the National University of Singapore, and is a graduate of the Stanford-NUS Executive program.

Tsung-Ching Wu has served as a director of Atmel since 1985, as Executive Vice President, Office of the President since 2001, and served as Executive Vice President and General Manager from January 1996 to January 2001 and as Vice President, Technology from January 1986 to January 1996. Mr. Wu holds degrees in electrical engineering from the National Taiwan University (B.S.), the State University of New York at Stony Brook (M.S.) and the University of Pennsylvania (Ph.D.).

Tsung-Ching Wu has served as a director of Atmel since 1985, as Executive Vice President, Office of the President since 2001, and served as Executive Vice President and General Manager from January 1996 to January 2001 and as Vice President, Technology from January 1986 to January 1996. Mr. Wu holds degrees in electrical engineering from the National Taiwan University (B.S.), the State University of New York at Stony Brook (M.S.) and the University of Pennsylvania (Ph.D.).

Christian Mahler is our Director of European Operations in Paris, France. Mr. Mahler has 20 years of experience in the electronics industry, including in the areas of semiconductor and electronic design automation . He has held key positions in sales and sales management at ES2/ATMEL and Cadence Design Systems.

Mr. Carinalli has served on our Board since October 1996. Mr. Carinalli has held numerous executive roles in technology companies various positions for National Semiconductor, Inc., a publicly traded company, most recently as Senior Vice President and Chief Technical Officer, and as a Board member of the Board of Directors of Fairchild Semiconductor. Mr. Carinalli also has served on the Boards of Directors of private companies.

Bruce has over 25 years of experience in the semiconductor and EDA industries in the areas of sales and marketing, business development, strategic advisory, and finance. Prior to joining Worldview, he was with Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown's Global Investment Banking group and led their Semiconductor Investment Banking practice. He joined Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown in 1996 as the Senior Equity research analyst covering the semiconductor and EDA industries. During his career, Bruce has provided strategic and investment advice to numerous leading private and public semiconductor and EDA companies. Some notable firms include Atmel, Amkor, ChipPac, Cooper and Cyan (acquired by Cadence) Infineon, Intersil, Level One Communications (acquired by Intel), Macronix, MEMC, MIPS Technologies, Mobility Electronics, Phillips Semiconductor, and Pixelworks (Nasdaq: PXLW), where he serves on the Board of Directors. Before entering the financial services industry in the mid 1990s, he held a number of executive management positions over a 17 year career in the semiconductor industry that has included work with start-up companies as well as large multinational firms such as Texas Instruments, VLSI Technology, and Cirrus Logic. In addition to his Pixelworks Board seat, Bruce currently serves on the board of Fyrestorm, a Worldview IV portfolio company, Bruce holds an MBA from Santa Clara University, a B.S in Mathematics from Texas State University, and has performed graduate work in electrical engineering at the University of Texas Austin.
