Atrion Corporation ("Atrion" or the "Company") designs, develops, manufactures, sells and distributes products and components, primarily for the medical and healthcare industry. The Company's products range from ophthalmology and cardiovascular products to fluid delivery devices. The Company has a line of non-medical components that are sold for use in aviation and marine safety products. The Company also owns and maintains a small gaseous oxygen pipeline that is incidental to the overall operations of the Company. The Company's fluid delivery products accounted for 34 percent, 32 percent and 32 percent of net revenues for 2008, 2007 and 2006, respectively. The Company develops, manufactures and markets several specialized intravenous fluid delivery tubing sets and accessories. The intravenous fluid delivery line includes more than 80 distinct models used for complex therapy procedures employed in anesthesia administration, intravenous fluid therapy, critical care and oncology therapy. The Company is an industry leader in the manufacturing of medical tubing clamps. Marianne Caserta and finances go hand-in-hand. Since 1997 Caserta has been the CFO for Atrion Networking Corporation. Over the years her responsibilities have progressed as the company has grown from a $5 million company to over $18 million. Initially Caserta was the entire accounting department at Atrion Networking Corporation, doing everything from book keeping, to accounts payable, receivable and human resources. As the company experienced growth, Caserta was able to hire staff so that she could concentrate on her role as CFO. As CFO, Caserta manages all aspects of the company's banking relationships, the finance administration team and new customer credit.
