Gary Babcock, President & CEO, is an MBA graduate from the University of Western Ontario and has over fifteen years experience in the microcomputer software industry. Most of Mr. Babcock's experience has been with startup operations where he has been involved in managing all aspects of a software company including business planning, product design, product development, product management, marketing, sales, technical support and financial management. Mr. Babcock was one of the original founders of SoftKey Inc. and played a key part in it's original success, helping the company go public three years after its inception in 1983. After leaving SoftKey in 1989, Mr. Babcock joined, and eventually became General Manager of SuperTime Inc., which developed one of the world's first microcomputer groupware products. During his tenure, Mr. Babcock was responsible for securing major international distribution contracts in the Asia Pacific region, including Korea, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia. Immediately prior to becoming HTN Inc.'s President and CEO, Mr. Babcock was Industry Relations Manager of Attachmate Canada, a worldwide software development company that specializes in PC to mainframe connectivity applications. During his tenure at Attachmate, Mr. Babcock was responsible for third party contract negotiations, where he negotiated a major development contract with Microsoft Corporation at its Redmond, Washington, headquarters. Paul Salsbury, LL.B., P.Eng. is serving as the Chief Programmer - IT Architect and is in charge of all research and development for the company. Mr. Salsbury designed, programmed and developed both the network and earlier disk-billing versions of HTN II for Windows (now called HERO ), and has been associated with the HTN products since 1992. Mr. Salsbury has extensive experience in the supervision and delivery of large projects and has worked on a number of Windows based products for the marketplace. He has, among his other credits, the design of the award winning NewViews accounting software (as chosen by PC Magazine).

Marc Andrews is chief operating officer (COO) with responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the NetIQ Business Unit, managing all aspects of product development and delivery as well as sales, support and service to NetIQ customers. Andrews has more than 15 years' experience in the information technology industry, specifically focused on enterprise software, distributed systems management and networking. He previously held executive and managerial positions at BMC Software, Computer 2000 and Novell Inc. While at BMC, he held dual positions of vice president of Enterprise Systems Management and vice president of Marketing at BMC Software for the EMEA region, with responsibility for defining, building and executing the overall go-to-market strategies for BMC Software.

David Dominik is a Managing Director of Golden Gate Capital. He has extensive private equity investment and operational experience, especially in a broad range of technology-related industries. Prior to Golden Gate Capital, Mr. Dominik spent ten years as a managing director at Bain Capital where he was responsible for managing Information Partners, a specialized fund within Bain Capital that focused on software, information services, and transaction processing companies serving a broad range of end markets. Mr. Dominik also built several scale companies in the semiconductor and electronics industries. Mr. Dominik also served on the investment committee of Brookside, Bain Capital's public equity hedge fund. In addition, Mr. Dominik opened and ran the California office for Bain Capital. Previously, Mr. Dominik was a partner at Zero Stage Capital, an early stage technology venture capital firm where he helped co-found several successful technology ventures. He was an early investor and assistant to the chairman of Genzyme Corporation. He also served as a Consultant at Bain & Company. Mr. Dominik has a J.D. from Harvard Law School (cum laude) and an A.B. from Harvard College (magna cum laude; Phi Beta Kappa).

Ezra Perlman, a principal with Francisco Partners, has extensive background investing in information technology companies. His private equity experience includes technology investing with Battery Ventures. He also serves on the board of directors of AttachmateWRQ, RedPrairie and SMART Modular. Perlman earned a BA in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University and an MBA from Stanford University.

Prescott Ashe is a Managing Director of Golden Gate Capital. He has 15-years of private equity investing experience and has participated in both growth-equity and management buyout transactions with more than $7.0 billion in value. Mr. Ashe focuses on (i) technology-related industries (specifically software, IT services, electronic hardware and manufacturing services), (ii) the consumer products and retail sectors, and (iii) business services. Prior to joining Golden Gate Capital, Mr. Ashe was a Principal at Bain Capital, which he initially joined in 1991, and a strategy consultant at Bain & Company. Mr. Ashe holds a J.D. from Stanford Law School and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley (where he graduated first in his class).
