As President and CEO of Authoria, Jim directs the strategy, operations, and growth of the leading provider of comprehensive talent management solutions. Jim joined the company in November 2008, bringing 27 years of management and technology-industry experience, including a track record of identifying business opportunity, driving company growth, and delivering customer success. Additionally, Jim has significant skills in enhancing the market growth, customer commitment, and overall operational efficiency of several public software companies. Jim is excited at the prospect of expanding Authoria's leadership position in the fast-growing talent-management market. Prior to joining Authoria, Jim served as Chief Operating Officer of CDC Software, a global provider of enterprise software solutions and services. Earlier, he held several executive roles with Geac Computer Corp., a provider of enterprise business applications, and was Chief Financial Officer of Clarus Corporation, a business-to-business procurement-solutions provider. Jim holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and an M.B.A. in Finance from Bentley College. Jim is moving back to Boston, after enjoying many years of excellent golf in the Atlanta area.

Tod founded Authoria in 1997 and served as President and CEO until November 2008. As Chairman, Tod is responsible for Authoria's long term vision. Collaborating closely with Jim McDevitt and the Board, Tod plays an active role in defining future company strategy and serves as a frequent speaker on talent management industry trends. Tod came to high technology early, authoring his first of four books on technology at the age of 16. He taught at Harvard University for eight years, where he created and delivered the university's first courses in Internet commerce and in knowledge-based systems. Tod has served on several boards of directors including Neuralware and Cyclists Fighting Hunger. Tod received his bachelor's degree from Harvard University where he served as editor-in-chief of the Harvard International Review and has performed graduate work at both Harvard and Oxford University. His passions include cycling for cancer research, competitive rowing, blues guitar, and building great companies.

Steve is charged with overseeing Authoria's financial direction and is responsible for finance, accounting, facilities, and treasury management. Before joining Authoria, Steve served as Senior Vice President and CFO of Lionbridge Technologies, a $450-million publicly held software company. Steve played an active role in the tremendous growth of Lionbridge, from securing VC funding through the company's IPO and secondary offerings. Steve built a worldwide finance organization and managed 12 acquisitions, led the company through SEC reporting changes such as Sarbanes-Oxley, and served as the company's liaison with the investment community. Prior to this, Steve served as Vice President and CFO for The Dodge Group, an international software company, and as Vice President and Controller for Marcam Corporation, from its inception as a $3-million startup to a $325-million publicly held software company. Steve holds a B.A. in accounting from Skidmore College. For many years, Steve has been wanting to spend more time behind his camera.

Debbie leads the day-to-day operations for Authoria's solutions while continuing to expand Authoria's global operations strategy. Her responsibilities include On-Demand Operations, Customer Support, IT, Security and Bangalore Operations. Prior to joining Authoria, Debbie served as vice president of e-business operations for Centra Software, a publicly-traded online business collaboration company. Debbie was also vice president of worldwide operations for Natural Microsystems (NMSS), a publicly-traded communications and technologies systems company. Before joining NMSS she worked at Lotus Development Corporation for ten years. In 2008 she was honored by Mass High Tech as one of its Women to Watch, an annual selection of female leaders and innovators in science and technology. Debbie holds a bachelor's degree from Occidental College in Los Angeles, CA and is a member of The Boston Club. Debbie's family is originally from Japan and she enjoys her collection of Asian art.
