Michael E. Maroone has been President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company since August 1999, overseeing its day-to-day retail operations. He has served as a Director of the Company since July 2005.  He is a second-generation automobile dealer who joined AutoNation in 1997 when it acquired the Maroone Group, his former South Florida-based group of dealerships. The group included one of the world's largest Chevrolet franchises, as well as Dodge, Ford, Oldsmobile, Jeep and Isuzu franchises, making it one of the top 500 privately-held companies in America, according to Forbes magazine. Today, AutoNation uses the "Maroone" brand as its local-market brand for its South Florida stores. Mike's industry accomplishments include being a past winner of the Ford Motor Co.'s Chairman's Award and a recipient of the "Quality Dealer" award from Time magazine.

Derek A. Fiebig joined AutoNation in November 2008 and has responsibility for the Company’s interactions and communications with financial analysts and investors. Prior to joining AutoNation, Mr. Fiebig was the Director of Investor Relations at Visteon Corporation from 2001 until November 2008. He also served as Visteon’s Assistant Treasurer – Investor Relations and Capital Markets from 2002 through 2005 – and was a member of the investment committee that had oversight of Visteon’s $1 billion of pension assets. Claire Cummings is the Secretary of AWARE. Claire is currently the Parts Wholesale Coordinator for John Elway/AutoNation Chrysler Jeep, which she started in this position in September 2005. T. Michael Casey is Vice President of Sales, Strategic Alliances. In his role Mr. Casey is responsible for the management of JM&A's alliances with such business partners as Volkswagen/Audi of America, Asbury Automotive, AutoNation, Group One, and Southeast Toyota Distributors, LLC. He is also responsible for securing and maintaining new corporate relationships, as well as providing strategic direction for the company's development in this area. With more than 25 years of automotive experience, Mr. Casey began his sales career at JM&A Group in 1984 as an F&I Specialist in Virginia. Irene Rosenfeld was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Kraft Foods in June 2006. She assumed the additional post of Chairman in March 2007, following Altria Group’s spin-off of Kraft. Irene is a 26-year veteran of the food and beverage industry and has a long history of bringing a consumer focus and innovation to building businesses. She began her career at Dancer Fitzgerald Sample advertising agency in New York and later joined General Foods in consumer research. Over the years, she advanced in a variety of leadership roles at Kraft. Mr. Robert R. Grusky is the Founder and Managing Member of Hope Capital Management, LLC, an investment manager, since 2000.
