Avago Technologies, Pte.

Hock Tan has served as our President, Chief Executive Officer and a director since March 2006. From September 2005 to January 2008, he served as chairman of the board of Integrated Device Technology, Inc., or IDT. Prior to becoming chairman of IDT, Mr. Tan was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Integrated Circuit Systems, Inc., or ICS, from June 1999 to September 2005. Prior to ICS, Mr. Tan was Vice President of Finance with Commodore International, Ltd. from 1992 to 1994, and previously held senior management positions with PepsiCo, Inc. and General Motors Corporation. Mr. Tan served as managing director of Pacven Investment, Ltd., a venture capital fund in Singapore from 1988 to 1992, and served as managing director for Hume Industries Ltd. in Malaysia from 1983 to 1988.

Douglas R. Bettinger has served as our Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since August 2008. From 2007 to 2008, Mr. Bettinger served as Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller at Xilinx, Inc. From 2004 to 2007, he was Chief Financial Officer at 24/7 Customer, a privately-held company. Mr. Bettinger was at Intel Corporation from 1993 to 2004, where he served in several senior-level finance and manufacturing operations positions, including Corporate Planning and Reporting Controller, and Malaysia Site Operations Controller.

Robert J. Rudy has served as Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Avago's Information Services Division since 2007. Prior to joining Avago, Rudy was Corporate Vice President and CIO at Lam Research Corporation where he was responsible for Global Information Systems. In addition, he was the first President and Chairman of CapOneSource LLC, a group purchasing alliance which Lam founded in 2003. Prior to working at Lam Research, he held a variety of senior management and engineering positions at several high technology firms, including Intel Corporation and Sematech. He also took an e-business company public in 1998. In the early 1990s, Rudy founded and led RenaiSys Corporation, a software development and consulting firm which he later sold.

Rex Jackson joined Symyx in 2007, after serving as General Counsel and in other senior management positions with several technology companies, including most recently Avago Technologies Limited and Synopsys Inc. At Synopsys, Mr. Jackson served as General Counsel in 2003 2006 and as interim chief financial officer in 2005-2006. He has a B.A. in political science from Duke University and a J.D. from Stanford University Law School.

Debra Landers has served as Vice President of Worldwide Human Resources since January 2007. She is responsible for setting direction and managing all aspects of Avago's Human Resources function including global talent management strategy and programs. Prior to joining Avago, Landers served as Vice President of Human Resources, Corporate Functions and Asia Pacific region for Hitachi Data Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi Ltd. of Tokyo Japan. Before moving to the US in July 2005, Landers held several HR management positions working in the Asia Pacific region both for Hitachi Data Systems and Telstra Corporation, Australia's largest telecommunications carrier.

Frank Ostojic has served as Vice President and General Manager of Avago's ASIC Product Division since 2007. In this role, he is responsible for product strategy that enables APD to grow in market share and revenue in the Networking and Data Center ASIC market. He is also responsible for the development of IP design that enables APD to be the leader in SerDes based ASICs. Since joining Hewlett-Packard/Agilent/Avago in 1996 as a design engineer for computer ICs, Ostojic has held a variety of senior research and development (R&D), and marketing management positions. A few of the R&D areas that he has managed include the development of custom devices for computer and networking OEMs, and the development of software for design automation.

Hassan Hussain has served as Vice President and General Manager, of Avago's Motion Control Products Division since June 2006. He overseas the development, production, marketing and sales of Avago's motion control products used in factory automation, industrial automation and office automation. Prior to the SPG Acquisition from Agilent in 2005, Hassan held a variety of management positions within the Optoelectronics and Disk Drives divisions at Hewlett-Packard and later at Agilent Technologies. He rotated in several critical functions from Production Engineering to Product Line management to Marketing management during his years at HP/Agilent. From 1989 to 1993, Hassan was a Process Engineer at with Motorola Semiconductor.

Patricia H. McCall has served as our Vice President, General Counsel since March 2007. She served as Director of Litigation at Adobe Systems from 2006 to 2007. Prior to this, Ms. McCall served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of ChipPAC Inc. from January 2003 to August 2004, when ChipPac Inc. merged with ST Assembly Test Services Ltd. in August 2004. Ms. McCall served as the Senior Vice President Administration, General Counsel and Secretary of ChipPAC Inc. from November 2000 to January 2003. From November 1995 to November 2000, Ms. McCall was at National Semiconductor Corporation, most recently as Associate General Counsel, and prior to that was a partner at the law firm of Pillsbury, Madison & Sutro, and a Barrister in England.

Tze-Siong Chong has served as Vice-President and General Manager of Avago Technologies' Isolation Products Division since December 2005. Based in Singapore, he oversees the overall development, production, marketing and sales of Avago's isolation products used in industrial, automotive, and consumer applications. From 1986 to 1997, Chong held a variety of engineering, manufacturing, and marketing management positions with Hewlett-Packard's Components Group. From 1997 to 2005, he served as Business Unit Manager of Isolation Products for HP/Agilent/Avago's Components Group.

Bryan Ingram has served our Senior Vice President and General Manager, Wireless Semiconductor Division since November 2007. He oversees the development, production, marketing and sales of Avago's RF and wireless components used in handsets, cellular infrastructure and satellite applications. Since joining HP/Agilent/Avago in 1990, Ingram has had a distinguished career and has held a variety of management positions. From 2005 to 2007, he was Vice President of WSD. Prior to the closing of the SPG Acquisition in 2005, Ingram was Vice President and General Manager of SPG's Wireless Semiconductor Division.

Fariba Danesh has served as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Fiber Optics Products Division since November 2007. She oversees the overall development, production, marketing and sales of Avago's fiber optic products used in high-speed wired datacom and telecom applications. Prior to her current position, Danesh was Vice President of FOPD from 2006 to 2007. From 2004 to 2006, she served as Executive Vice President of Operations at Maxtor Corporation, and from 2003 to 2004 as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Operations at Finisar Corporation. Danesh was Senior Vice President, Operations and later President and Chief Executive Officer of Genoa Corporation from 2000 to 2003. Prior to the aforementioned positions, she held a variety of senior positions at Sanmina Corporation, Seagate Technology and Conner Peripherals' Disk Division.

David Kerko has been a director since March 2008. Since December 2006, Mr. Kerko has been a Director of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P. He was a Principal of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P. between 2002 and 2006, having begun his career at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. in 1998. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Kerko was with Gleacher NatWest Inc.

James A. Davidson has served as a member of the Company’s Board of Directors since March 2003. He is a co-founder and managing director of Silver Lake, a private equity investment firm. Mr. Davidson also serves on the Board of directors for Avago Technologies, a private company that specializes in analog, mixed-signal and optoelectronic components and subsystems. From June 1990 to November 1998, he was an investment banker with Hambrecht & Quist, most recently serving as Managing Director and Head of Technology Investment Banking. From 1984 to 1990, Mr. Davidson was a corporate and securities lawyer with Pillsbury, Madison & Sutro.

James Diller, Sr. was a founder of PMC-Sierra, Inc., or PMC, serving as PMC's CEO from 1983 to July 1997 and president from 1983 to July 1993. He has been a director of PMC since its formation in 1983. Diller was chairman of PMC's board of directors from July 1993 until February 2000, when he became vice chairman. He also serves as a director of Intersil Corporation, and is the chairman of the board of Summit Microelectronics.
