Avanir Pharmaceuticals

Mr. Mike Puntoriero has been an Oakley director since January 2005. Since May 2006 Mr. Puntoriero has served as chief financial officer for Avanir Pharmaceuticals. From July 2004 until March 2006, Mr. Puntoriero was Vice President of Fleetwood Enterprises, Inc. and President of Fleetwood Vacation Club, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Fleetwood Enterprises, Inc. From September 2003 until July 2004, Mr. Puntoriero did consulting work for various companies, including Fleetwood Enterprises, Inc. Prior to that, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at First Consulting Group, Inc. from January 2003 to September 2003. Mr. Puntoriero's previous business experience also includes more than 23 years at Arthur Andersen LLP where he became the Audit Division Head in 1996 and Managing Partner in 2000 of Arthur Andersen's Orange County office.

Keith A. Katkin joined AVANIR Pharmaceuticals in July of 2005 as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing and has served as a member of AVANIR's Executive Management Team. In March of 2007 Mr. Katkin was appointed President and CEO and elected as a member of the board of directors. Prior to joining AVANIR, Mr. Katkin served as the Vice President, Commercial Development for Peninsula Pharmaceuticals, playing a key role in the management of the company. Additionally, Mr. Katkin's employment experience includes leadership roles at InterMune, Amgen and Abbott Laboratories. Mr. Katkin received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Accounting from Indiana University and an M.B.A. in Finance from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA, graduating with honors. Mr. Katkin is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Randall E. Kaye, M.D., joined AVANIR Pharmaceuticals in January 2006 in the newly created role of Vice President of Medical Affairs. Since November 2006 he held the position of Vice President, Clinical and Medical Affairs and in February 2007 was promoted to Senior Vice President Clinical Research and Medical Affairs, Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Kaye's focus is on providing leadership and vision to the Clinical, Regulatory and Medical Affairs areas and to support the commercialization of new products from a medical, scientific, regulatory, technical and quality perspective. Immediately prior to joining AVANIR, Dr. Kaye was the Vice President of Medical Affairs for Scios Inc., a division of Johnson & Johnson, where he built and integrated a Medical Affairs department consisting of 80 professionals. Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, Dr. Kaye recruited and managed the Medical Affairs department for InterMune Inc. Previously, Dr. Kaye served for nearly a decade in a variety of Medical Affairs and Marketing positions for Pfizer Inc. Dr. Kaye earned his Doctor of Medicine, Masters in Public Health and Bachelor of Science degrees at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and was a Research Fellow in Allergy and Immunology at Harvard Medical School.

Eric S. Benevich joined Avanir Pharmaceuticals in July 2005 as Senior Director of Marketing. In August 2007, he was promoted to Vice President of Communications and is responsible for all external communications as well as commercial planning and market development activities for Avanir’s portfolio products. During his tenure at Avanir, Mr. Benevich helped build the Avanir commercial infrastructure and successfully relaunched FazaClo ® , more than doubling its sales in less than one year after Avanir acquired the product. Prior to joining Avanir, Mr. Benevich previously served as the Senior Director of Marketing for Peninsula Pharmaceuticals. Prior to his tenure at Peninsula Pharmaceuticals, Mr. Benevich held several Marketing positions with Amgen Inc., a global biotechnology company. In addition, Mr. Benevich held several commercial roles at Astra Merck in Sales, Market Research and Brand Marketing. With over 16 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Mr. Benevich has been involved in marketing some of the most successful blockbuster prescription products including Prilosec ® , EPOGEN ® and Enbrel ® . Mr. Benevich graduated from Washington State University with a degree in International Business and has completed several MBA courses at Villanova University.

Mr. Jeff Moorad has been an Oakley director since December 2006. Mr. Moorad is part-owner and general partner of Major League Baseball'sth Leigh Steinberg to form one of the most powerful partnerships in the history of sports representation, covering both Major League Baseball financial officer for Avanir Pharmaceuticals. From July 2004 until March 2006, Mr. Puntoriero was Vice President of Fleetwood Enterprises, Inc. and President of Fleetwood Vacation Club, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Fleetwood Enterprises, Inc. From September 2003 until July 2004, Mr. Puntoriero did consulting work for various companies, including Fleetwood Enterprises, Inc. Mr. Wheeler was previously President of Chiron BioPharmaceuticals, the biotechnology division of Chiron Corporation, which manufactured and distributed products treating cancer, cystic fibrosis, and multiple sclerosis. During his tenure, global sales in the division doubled to over $600 million, five new programs were put into clinical development, and a new product was launched. Prior to joining Chiron, Mr. Wheeler served as a partner at The Boston Consulting Group in the firm's healthcare practice.

James B. Glavin has 38 years of experience in the health care pharmaceutical industry. He has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of Immune Response since May 1993, CEO from April 1987 to September 1994, President from October 1987 to September 1994, and Treasurer from April 1987 to May 1991. He was Chairman of the Board of Directors of Smith Laboratories, Inc., a medical products company, from September 1985 to May 1990 and Acting President and CEO from September 1985 to August 1989. During 1985 to 1987 Mr. Glavin was a Partner in CH Ventures. From 1981 to 1983, he was President and CEO of Genetics Systems Corporation and Chairman of the Board from 1983 to 1985. In addition to being Director and Chairman of Immune Response, he is currently a Director of Nektar Therapeutic Systems, Inc., formerly Inhale Therapeutic Systems, Inc., Meridian Fund, and Chairman of the Board of Avanir Pharmaceuticals.

Dr. Whitcup serves as Executive Vice President and Head of Research and Development of Allergan, Inc. Dr. Whitcup has served in this role since July 2004 and is responsible for Allergan’s discovery efforts as well as the ophthalmology, Botox®/neurology, skin care, and new technology development programs worldwide. Dr. Whitcup joined Allergan in January 2000 as Vice President, Development, Ophthalmology and, in January 2004, he became Allergan’s Senior Vice President, Development, Ophthalmology. From 1993 until 2000, Dr. Whitcup served as the Clinical Director of the National Eye Institute at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Whitcup is a faculty member at the Jules Stein Eye Institute/ David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Whitcup graduated from Cornell University Medical College and completed residency training both in internal medicine at UCLA Medical Center and in ophthalmology at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary-Harvard Medical School. He then received fellowship training in uveitis and ocular immunology at the National Eye Institute.

Stuart A. Samuels, 67 , has been a director of the Company since March 2005. Prior to being appointed a director of the Company he had served as a director of Chronimed since November 2000. Since 1990, Mr. Samuels has been a management consultant, specializing in business management, strategic sales and marketing and business development for several companies, specifically in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. He currently serves on the boards of directors of Infomedics, Inc. and Target Rx, Inc.
