Julia A. Stewart, a 37-year veteran of the restaurant industry, serves as chairman and CEO of DineEquity, Inc. DineEquity is the world’s largest full-service restaurant company franchising and operating restaurants under the Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar and IHOP Restaurant brands. A proven leader, Ms. Stewart implemented significant shifts in strategy that resulted in revitalizing the IHOP brand and improving the overall financial performance of the business since joining the Company in December 2001. In 2007, Ms. Stewart led the acquisition of Applebee’s International, Inc., creating an industry leader with more than 3,400 locations. Prior to joining DineEquity, Ms. Stewart served as President of the domestic division of Applebee's International, Inc. Before joining Applebee's, Ms. Stewart held several key executive positions with Taco Bell Corporation, including National Vice President of Franchise and License and Western Region Vice President of Operations. Over a 15-year period prior to Taco Bell, she held various key marketing positions with Stuart Anderson's Black Angus/Cattle Company Restaurants, Spoons Grill & Bar, Burger King Corp. and Carl's Jr. Restaurants. Julia is a founding member of the Women’s Foodservice Forum and the recipient of numerous industry awards and serves on the Board of Avery Dennison and is a member of the UCLA Anderson School of Business Board of Visitors. Ms. Stewart, her two children, and her husband, Tim, reside in the Los Angeles area.

Anne Hill is senior vice president and chief Human Resources officer for Avery Dennison Corporation. She joined Avery Dennison in April 2007. In her role, Ms. Hill is responsible for providing overall leadership to the Company's global Human Resources organization and programs, including leadership and organization development, performance management, training, compensation and benefits, staffing, employee relations, HRIS, and affirmative action / diversity. Prior to joining Avery Dennison, Ms. Hill served as the head of Human Resources for Chiron Corporation, a $2 billion global biotech company based in Emeryville, California. Prior to that, she spent 13 years with Baxter Healthcare, a $9 billion medical device company where her last role was heading global human resources for the BioScience division. Ms. Hill began her career with the John Lewis Partnership, a large British retailer. She has a BSc/Economics from the University of Wales.

Daniel R. O'Bryant is executive vice president, Finance, and chief financial officer of Avery Dennison Corporation. He was elected to his current position in April 2005. Mr. O'Bryant joined Avery Dennison in 1990 as director of capital planning. He was appointed director of Finance, Specialty Tape Europe, in 1991; group Finance director, Roll Materials Europe, in 1992; and vice president, Finance – Europe, in 1994. He was appointed vice president, Operations Audit and Business Consulting in 1995. In 1997, Mr. O'Bryant was transferred to Fasson Roll North America, where he was appointed vice president, Business Forms Division, in 1997, and vice president and general manager, Product Identification Division, in 1999. Mr. O'Bryant was elected senior vice president and chief financial officer of Avery Dennison Corporation in January, 2001. Prior to joining Avery Dennison, Mr. O'Bryant served in several financial, manufacturing and marketing management positions at Baker Hughes in Los Angeles, California. Mr. O'Bryant was born in Tacoma, Washington. He graduated from California State Polytechnic University with a degree in management science and received his master's degree in Business Administration from University of Southern California.

David N. Edwards is vice president and chief technology officer of Avery Dennison Corporation. He is based at the Avery Research Center in Pasadena, California. He was elected to his current position in November 2005. Dr. Edwards joined Avery Dennison in 1999 as director of New Business Development. He was promoted to vice president of Corporate Research in February of 2000 and vice president of Corporate Research and Business Development in December of 2002. In 2003, he received the Company's Leadership Excellence Award for Leadership Development and Organizational Effectiveness. In addition to managing the Avery Research Center, Dr.

Robert G. van Schoonenberg is the Former Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary of the Board of Avery Dennison Corporation. He also served as Secretary and General Counsel at Avery Dennison for over 25 years. He is presently serving as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BayPoint Capital Partners, LLC and Managing Partner, General Counsel Law Partners, as well as a member of the Board of Directors of Altair Nanotechnologies, Inc. Mr. van Schoonenberg received his J.D. degree from University of Michigan School of Law, his M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and his undergraduate degree from Marquette University. Mr. van Schoonenberg also serves on the Board of Trustees for Southwestern University School of Law.

Diane B. Dixon is senior vice president of Corporate Communications and Advertising for Avery Dennison Corporation. She was named to her current position in December 2000. Ms. Dixon joined Avery Dennison in 1982 as director, Corporate Communications and was named vice president, Corporate Communications in November 1985. As senior vice president, Corporate Communications and Advertising, Ms. Dixon is responsible for the strategic direction and management of all aspects of corporate communications programs. Ms. Dixon is a member of the Board of Directors and chair of Women Leaders, United Way of Greater Los Angeles. She is a member of the Board of Directors for ALS of Greater Los Angeles; KCET; and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce. She is also a member of the executive committee of the Women’s Leadership Board of Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. Ms. Dixon received her Bachelor's of arts degree in political science from the University of Southern California in 1973.

John M. Sallay is senior vice president, New Growth Platforms, of Avery Dennison Corporation. He was elected to this newly-created position on March 2009. Prior to joining Avery Dennison, Mr. Sallay served as senior vice president for strategy at Staples, where he helped the office products retailer develop several new growth platforms. He was also the chairman and chief executive officer of Manifold Products, a company that develops and launches innovative consumer products based on new technologies. Prior to that, Mr. Sallay worked in private equity firms, in investment banking, and as a partner in Harvard University’s investment company, where he managed a portfolio of new ventures and start ups. Mr. Sallay earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master’s of Business Administration from Harvard University.

Susan C. Miller is senior vice president, general counsel and secretary of Avery Dennison Corporation. She was promoted to her current position in January 2009. Ms. Miller joined the Company in 1991 as senior counsel and was promoted to assistant general counsel in 1998. In 2007, she was promoted to vice president and general counsel and was promoted to senior vice president and general counsel in 2008. In her role, Ms. Miller focuses on issues pertaining to the Board of Directors, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, shareholder protection, executive compensation, corporate policy review and corporate strategic planning. Prior to joining Avery Dennison, Ms. Miller served as an associate at the law firm of Latham & Watkins in Los Angeles and Kirkpatrick & Lockhart in Pittsburgh. Ms. Miller received a Bachelor's degree in Management Sciences/Accounting from Duke University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.

Donald A. Nolan is group vice president of Roll Materials for Avery Dennison Corporation, based in Mentor, Ohio. He was hired to his current position in March 2008. In his role, Mr. Nolan is responsible for defining and leading the execution of a comprehensive strategy to grow the market share and returns of the Roll Materials business. Prior to joining Avery Dennison, Mr. Nolan served as senior vice president of Global Packaging and Automotive Coatings for Valspar Corporation. Prior to Valspar, he worked at Loctite Corporation, Ashland Chemical Company and General Electric. Mr. Nolan earned his Bachelor of Science degree in materials and metallurgical engineering from the University of Michigan; a Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan.

Gregory E. Temple is vice president, Global Operations and Enterprise Lean Sigma for Avery Dennison Corporation. He was appointed to his current position in April 2007. Mr. Temple joined Avery Dennison as vice president, Supply Chain, for Office Products North America in 2001, and was promoted to vice president, Supply Chain, Office Products Worldwide in 2003. Mr. Temple provides oversight for the Company's Operations and Supply Chain functions. In addition, he also oversees the talent acquisition, development and deployment of operations leadership across the Company. He is also responsible for the implementation of Enterprise Lean Sigma (ELS) across all functions of the Company as Avery Dennison pursues its Lean transformation. Prior to joining Avery Dennison, Mr. Temple served in a variety of operations, general management and international positions with The Clorox Company. Mr. Temple earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering from the United States Merchant Marine Academy and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of California.

Since 2002, Mr. Rapp worked for Avery Dennison, a $5 billion NYSE-listed global leader in pressuresensitive technology and self-adhesive solutions. He most recently served as Vice President & General Manager of the Central & Eastern Regions for Avery’s Roll Materials Division. His responsibilities included operations of 900 employees and sales of €500 million. Prior to his tenure with Avery Dennison, Mr. Rapp was Managing Partner and co-owner of BonnConsult GmbH, a management consultancy for strategy, sales, and process optimization, and a General Manager for Kloeckner-Moeller GmbH, a producer of automation systems. He attended various educational institutions in Germany, earning degrees in Business Administration from University of Koblenz and University of Saarbruecken.

Terrence L. Hemmelgarn is group vice president of Retail Information Services of Avery Dennison Corporation. He was promoted to his current position in June 2007. Mr. Hemmelgarn joined Avery Dennison in 1989 and held a number of operations management roles in the U.S. converting businesses. He was named general manager, Business Media, in 2000, where he received the Company's Leadership Excellence Award for Superior Asset Management and General Manager and Division of the Year Honorable Mention for Businesses Under $60 Million. In 2002, Mr. Hemmelgarn was named vice president and general manager, Worldwide Ticketing Services, and in 2005, he was promoted to vice president and general manager, Retail Information Services, Asia. In 2006, he also assumed responsibility for global operations for the Company's Information and Brand Management Services division. Mr. Hemmelgarn graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

Timothy S. Clyde is group vice president of Specialty Materials and Converting for Avery Dennison Corporation. He was promoted to his current position in 2001. Mr. Clyde joined the Company in 1988 in a marketing position for the Office Labels group within Office Products North America. He had several promotions within the marketing area before becoming director of marketing for Office Labels in 1994. In 1996, he was promoted to general manager, Binders, and over the next few years was general manager of several office product businesses. In January 2000, he became vice president and general manager, Office Products North America. Mr. Clyde received a Bachelor of arts degree from Claremont McKenna College and a master's degree in Business Administration from U.C.L.A.'s Anderson Graduate School of Management.

Timothy G. Bond is group vice president of Office Products for Avery Dennison Corporation, based in Brea, California. He was appointed to his current position in March 2008. Mr. Bond joined Avery Dennison in 2001 as vice president, Sales, Office Products North America. He was appointed vice president and general manager, Office Products North America in 2003. Prior to Avery Dennison, Mr. Bond served with both Nabisco and Procter & Gamble Company in a series of increasingly responsible positions. Mr. Bond was born in Compton, California. He graduated from Occidental College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.

Wayne H. Smith is the president of Wayne H. Smith Consulting, Inc. He formed the company upon retiring from Avery Dennison in 2002. The firm specializes in financial consulting to manufacturing and service industry companies. Areas of expertise are working capital reduction strategies, capital structure strategy, treasury management strategy, foreign currency management, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, retirement fund management strategy and business plan development. Wayne is a recognized expert in financial management with over 34 years of experience in three multinational manufacturing Fortune 500 companies. He has a significant background in international finance having served as a senior financial officer in two of these companies for a total of 26 years. Wayne is the retired vice president financial services and treasurer of Avery Dennison Corporation, a $5 billion multinational manufacturer of self-adhesive materials, labels and office supplies. During his career at Avery his responsibilities included treasury, tax, risk management, accounts receivable and investor relations. In 2000, CFO Magazine ranked Avery Dennison in the top 2% of 550 firms for cash management effectiveness over the previous five years.

On December 1, 2005, Kent Kresa was elected non-executive Chairman. Mr. Kresa presides at executive sessions of the Board. Patrick T. Siewert , age 53. Since April 2007, Mr. Siewert has been a Managing Director for The Carlyle Group, an investment company. From February 2006 through March 2007, Mr. Siewert was a Senior Advisor to The Coca-Cola Company, a worldwide beverage company. From August 2001 through March 2007, Mr. Siewert was Group President, Asia The Coca-Cola Company. He is also a director of Computime Group Ltd., a manufacturer of home and commercial control products in Hong Kong. He has been a director of Avery Dennison Corporation since April 2005. His present term expires in 2010.

Charles Graham has lived in Weybridge since 1987 and has served as Treasurer on the Board since 1992. Charles is a US Navy veteran and is retired from Avery Dennison Corporation, New York.

Diana Jackson has advised clients on a wide variety of issues in a range of industries since becoming an economic consultant in 1998. She has particular experience in merger investigations, having worked on Andersen/Ernst & Young (France & Germany), GE/Honeywell, and Airtours/First Choice (both at the Commission stage and in the Court of First Instance appeal), as well as on cases before the UK Competition Commission (Centrica/Rough, Pan Fish/Marine Harvest) and the German Bundeskartellamt (BP/E.ON, Avery Dennison/Jackstadt). She has also worked on several cases in South Africa (Sasol/Engen, Altech/NamITech) and has appeared as an expert witness before the South African Competition Tribunal. This work has involved unilateral, coordinated, vertical and conglomerate effects, and 'failing firm' issues, and has covered a broad range of industrial sectors. She also has experience in nonmerger cases, including studies of the comparative efficiency of alternative payment schemes for music rights, and the economic effects of vertical restraints (such as exclusive distribution agreements).

Harry's internal experience includes 21 years as director and corporate officer in human resources and organizational development with three multinational corporations. At Cummins, he was the senior HR generalist for Corporate Staff, R&D, Marketing and Sales. At Avery Dennison, he was VP for Leadership and Organizational Development. At Global Knowledge Network, he was Corporate VP of HR. He is the Vice Chairman of the New England Center for Children, and for over 20 years he was a leader in human resource management at Cummins, Avery Dennison, and Global Knowledge. He has written articles on human resources and organizational development for a variety of business and professional publications and delivered numerous presentations and workshops to colleagues. Harry's academic and professional degrees are from Indiana University (Ph.D.), Stanford University (A.M.), Harvard Divinity School (M.T.S.), and Hamilton College (B.A.). He has post-graduate education and certifications in management, coaching, and psychology.

Jason is currently an Engagement Director with George Group Consulting, where he advises companies on innovation, organizational change, and strategy development. Prior to joining George Group, Jason managed his own consulting firm, worked as an associate in Morgan Stanley's investment banking division in New York, and was a business analyst with McKinsey & Company. From 1994-1998, he served as an artillery officer in the United States Marine Corps, where he held the positions of battery commander, executive officer, fire support coordinator, platoon commander, and forward observer. From 1993-1994, he conducted research in international economics as a J. William Fulbright Scholar in Venezuela. His education includes a BA in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa, and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is the lead author of The Marine Corps Way , a highly acclaimed business leadership & strategy book, and the co-author of two Harvard Business Review articles. In 2003, he received a leadership award from then-Secretary of State Colin Powell.

John T. Cardis , age 67. Mr. Cardis is a private investor. In May 2004, Mr. Cardis retired as National Managing Partner Global Strategic Clients of Deloitte & Touche USA LLP, an audit, tax, consulting and financial advisory service company. From 1991 through June 1999, Mr. Cardis served as Office Managing Partner, Los Angeles, for Deloitte & Touche. He was also a member of the executive committee and a member of the board of directors. He also is a director of Edwards Lifesciences Corporation, a cardiovascular disease treatment company. He has been a director of Avery Dennison Corporation since October 2004.

Rolf Borjesson , age 66. Since May 2008, Mr. Borjesson has been the Retired Chairman of Rexam PLC, a worldwide consumer packaging company in London, United Kingdom. From May 2004 through April 2008, Mr. Borjesson was non-executive Chairman of Rexam. From 1996 through May 2004, Mr. Borjesson served as Chief Executive Officer of Rexam. He is also a director of SCA AB (Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget), a pulp and paper manufacturer based in Stockholm, Sweden and Huhtamaki Oyj, a manufacturer of consumer and specialty packaging based in Espoo, Finland. He has been a director of Avery Dennison Corporation since January 2005. His present term expires in 2010.

Frank V. Cahouet is the retired Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Mellon Financial Corporation, where he served from 1987 to 1998. During his tenure at Mellon, Mr. Cahouet was responsible for the restructuring of Mellon Financial Corporation. Before joining Mellon, Mr. Cahouet served as President and Chief Operating Officer of the Federal National Mortgage Association (Fannie Mae) (1986-1987); Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Crocker National Bank (1984-1986); and Vice Chairman, Chief Financial Officer and member of the Office of the Chairman, Security Pacific National Bank (1960-1984). Mr. Cahouet, a native of Boston, is a graduate of Harvard University and Wharton Graduate School of Finance of the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, he serves on the boards of directors of Avery Dennison Corporation, Korn/Ferry International, and Saint-Gobain Corporation; as well as serving as a trustee of Carnegie Mellon University, The Heinz Endowment, Pittsburgh Regional Alliance, Extra Mile Education Foundation and others.
