Dr. Bill Leighton has over 25 years of telecommunications senior management experience spanning research, engineering and business unit management. Dr. Leighton worked at AT&T in a variety of roles over the last 28 years, most recently as Vice President of Research at AT&T Labs where he led the team responsible for AT&T's core and directed research program. Prior to that, he was the Vice President of Technology and Services Strategy at AT&T Labs and ran AT&T's Security Services business unit. Dr. Leighton holds an MSE and PhD in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University. He also completed an Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.

Mr. Daly serves as Vice President overseeing Soapstone Networks engineering development. Mr. Daly brings over 17 years of experience in networking and high tech industries. Daly leads the Engineering team in defining and developing emerging provisioning software for communications services, providers and carriers. Daly previously worked at Digital Equipment Corporation in the Networks and Communications Group, Acopia Networks and Avici Systems. He holds 10 U.S. Patents, has published several technical papers and is a member on the IEEE 802.1 Internetworking Group. Mr. Daly received his PhD from University College in Dublin, Ireland.

Mr. Stuart joined Avici Systems in September 2006 with a two-decade record of achievement and broad-based financial experience in the telecommunications equipment and software industries. Prior to that, Mr. Stuart served as a general partner at Still River Funds, a venture capital organization focused on investments in the information technology, communications and life sciences industries. Mr. Stuart had previously held the position of vice president of business development for ADC Telecommunications. Prior to that Mr. Stuart held CFO and VP level positions at NetCore Systems, Telco Systems, AccessLine Technologies and AT&T Paradyne. Mr. Stuart received an MBA from Northeastern University and a BA from Boston College.

Mike Gordon was a founder of Meritech in 1999 and currently focuses on the communications equipment and service provider and semiconductor sectors. He has been directly involved with Airgo Networks, BigBand Networks, Calix Networks, Commverge Solutions, FiberTower, Integrated Solutions, Omneon Networks, TeleAtlas NV, Visto Corporation, Vonage Holdings Corporation. Mike joined Meritech Capital Partners from Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown where he was a Managing Director and Senior Research Analyst and focused on companies in the communications, networking, wireless data, semiconductor and service provider segments. Mike was the research analyst during the equity financings of Ciena Corporation, Broadcom Corporation, and JDS Uniphase Corporation and was recognized as a two-time Wall Street Journal All Star Analyst. Prior to joining Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown, Mike worked at Montgomery Securities and Salomon Brothers. He holds a B.A. in Economics and Public Policy from Stanford University.

Richard T. Liebhaber has served as a Director since June 1997. Mr. Liebhaber was a Consulting Managing Director at Veronis, Suhler & Associates, Inc., a provider of financial advisory services to the communications industry, from June 1995 to August 2001. Prior to that, Mr. Liebhaber served as Executive Vice President of MCI Communications Corporation, a telecommunications provider, from December 1985 to May 1995. Mr. Liebhaber also serves on the board of directors of ILOG S.A., a software company, JDS Uniphase Corporation, a provider of optical communications products, and Cogent Communications, Inc., an internet service provider.
