Chas Smith is vice president and general Manager, Avid Video. He joined Avid in 1999 from the company's audio division, Digidesign. During his tenure at Avid, Chas has been instrumental in strengthening the company's distribution channels, driving stronger overseas sales and marketing, and dramatically improving customer service on a global basis. With nearly 20 years' experience in the audio business, Chas joined Digidesign in 1993, where he helped open, and ultimately operate, a new U.K. office. Eventually, Chas assumed all international sales and marketing responsibilities for Digidesign. Prior to joining Digidesign, Chas worked at Roland Corp. as sales and marketing manager. Before Roland, he managed a small facility that produced radio and TV advertising jingles.

With extensive international and technology sector experience, his mandate includes global alignment of Avid’s organization structures and direction of human resource programs and policies, including compensation, benefits, employee relations, training and development. Mr. Raine came to Avid in April 2008 from EMC Corp. where he held the role of senior director of human resources within the Americas Field Organization. At EMC, he and his team supported 7,500 employees in sales, professional services, and sales operations. Prior to EMC, Mr. Raine held executive and senior management human resource positions at Parametric Technology Corporation, Nortel Networks Corp. and Ryder System, Inc. Mr. Raine grew up in London, England and then attended the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill where he received a degree in Political Science. "

Ken joined 5280 Digital as an Account Manager after ten years with Avid Technology Inc. While at Avid, he was a product specialist in both Broadcast and Post Production from 1996 to 2001, then a Regional Channel Sales Manager for the Pacific Northwest and Central Southwest US until early 2006. Prior to joining Avid, Ken was a professional video and non-linear specialist with Proline Audio Visual in Seattle, Washington. He recently relocated to the Denver area and brings a unique understanding of our customer's needs as he is also an experienced videographer and editor. Ken has a significant amount of experience with Avid Unity Workgroup configuration for both Broadcast and Post Production workflows.

Mr. Krause has been an innovator in the software industry for over fourteen years. His proven track record of delivering innovative software solutions in imaging is highlighted by engagements with companies such as Kodak, Polaroid, Monaco Systems and Avid Technology. He takes pride in working with each client personally to ensure their expectations are managed and met. Mr. Krause is the company's senior consultant and chief architect responsible for the technical outcome of each client engagement. As the corporation's President, he also oversees all of Regulant's strategy and business operations. Ed Jose is a digital media specialist for Avid Technology, Inc., the worldwide leader in digital nonlinear editing, effects, and audio solutions. In this role, he is responsible for pre-sales technical consultation regarding Avid's streaming media and online digital media solutions technologies. Jose joined Avid in 1993 to assist Avid's government sales team. He has helped hundreds of government agencies publish their video to the Internet, including the White House which published some of the first video to appear on the Web. In 1995, Jose produced Avid's first CD-ROM marketing tool and the Avid government Web site containing the company's first online video. He has produced dozens of marketing videos for Avid which have received numerous awards from the International Television Association (ITVA), the Tellys, the Communicator and the New York Film Festivals. Prior to Avid, Jose spent 18 years in video production and broadcasting. He began his career as a military broadcast journalist. Working with the American Forces Korea Network Headquarters (AFKN) in Seoul, Korea, from 1984 through 1986, Jose hosted a daily talk radio show and produced television spots and promos. In 1986, Jose became the station manager of AFKN, Pusan affiliate, where he was awarded six Department of Defense broadcast awards for his television news programs. In 1989, he joined the staff of Soldiers Radio and Television in Washington, DC, as a Department of Army news correspondent, traveling to Saudi Arabia to cover Operation Desert Storm. His Desert Storm coverage led to his selection as the 1991 Department of Army Broadcast Journalist of the Year and, subsequently, the Department of Defense Broadcast Journalist of the Year.

Jeremy Meltzer is an aspiring Film major attending Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. Originally from Potomac, Maryland, he realized he wanted to become an editor after completing a series of amateur video projects with several high school friends. Although it was his love of editing that originally brought Jeremy to the Boston area in the fall of 2003, his overall interests in media have expanded a lot since that time. This semester, he has dedicated himself to learning animation techniques and has even tried to take on the PHP coding language. Next semester, he plans to take this to the next level, with courses on advanced computer animation as well as a course devoted to motion graphics. He tries to explore as many interests as possible, so that he might one day be able to forge a career out of all these collective experiences, pulling them together to provide a very unique stance on anything he may come across as a professional editor.

Joseph Torelli has worked in the broadcast news business for over thirty years, first as editor and cameraman for NBC News and later as Chief Editor Broadcast at Avid Technology. He received the prestigious J. Winton Lemen Fellowship Award from the National Press Photographers Association for his outstanding work in the development of non-linear video editing systems for TV news operations and his commitment to the NPPA, photojournalists, and photojournalism. He currently oversees the implementation of Apple server-based production tools by major broadcasters and studios.

Louis Hernandez, Jr. is the chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Open Solutions Inc., a leading provider of enterprise-wide enabling technologies for financial institutions. Open Solutions went private in January 2007 with a transaction value of $1.3 billion. Robert Halperin has been a Board of Directors member of AtHoc since the company s inception in 1999. Bob was Vice Chairman of Raychem Corporation, a materials science company, from 1990 to 1994, and previous to that served as its President. He spent 37 years at Raychem. Bob has been an advisor to Greylock Management, a venture capital firm, since 1990. He is currently a member of the board of Vitria Technology Inc. (NASDAQ: VITR), a leading provider of eBusiness infrastructure software, Avid Technology Inc. (NASDAQ: AVID) as well as several private companies.
