Axsys Technologies Inc.

Mr. Bershad has been Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Axsys since 1986 and was President of Axsys from 1986 to August 1999 and from March 2002 to the present. Prior thereto, he was a Managing Director of Lehman Brothers, Inc. and its predecessor firms, where he held a series of senior management positions in merchant banking and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Bershad is a director of EMCOR Group, Inc., an electrical and mechanical construction and facilities services company.

Mr. Manitakos joined Axsys in September 2008 and currently serves as President of the Surveillance Systems Division. Prior to joining Axsys, Mr. Manitakos served as President of the Surveillance Division at ICx. Prior to ICx, Mr. Manitakos held senior management positions at FLIR Systems including Vice President and General Manager of FLIR Boston. Mr. Manitakos holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Lowell, a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and an executive MBA from Suffolk University.

Mr. Howard joined Axsys Technologies in 2004 and currently serves as President of the Optical Systems Group. In 1986, Mr. Howard co-founded Telic Optics, Inc., a leading optical engineering and manufacturing firm, where he served as the company's President and CEO until the company was acquired by Axsys in 2004. Prior to Telic, Mr. Howard held senior level technical management and engineering positions in the Aerospace/Defense industry. Mr. Howard holds BS and MS in Optics from the University of Rochester, and an MBA in Finance from Bentley College.

Ms. McNickle joined Axsys in July 2000 and presently serves as the Corporate Secretary and the Corporate Controller. Prior to joining Axsys, Ms McNickle held a variety of accounting and finance roles at The Hartford, Aetna and Black & Decker. Ms. McNickle is a CPA and holds a BS in Accounting and an MBA in International Finance from the University of Connecticut.
