Robin Li is the co-founder, chairman and chief executive officer of Baidu, Inc., and oversees the company's overall strategy and business operations. In the nine years since founding Baidu in January 2000, Robin has turned the company into the largest Chinese search engine, with over 70% market share, and the third largest independent search engine in the world. In 2005, Baidu completed its successful IPO on NASDAQ, and in 2007 became the first Chinese company to be included in the NASDAQ-100 Index. Prior to Baidu, Robin was already regarded as one of the world's top search engine experts. His hyperlink analysis, patented in 1996, is among the inventions that shaped today's search engine technology. Robin worked as a staff engineer for Infoseek, a pioneer internet search engine company, from July 1997 to December 1999, and as a senior consultant for IDD Information Services from May 1994 to June 1997. Robin received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Management from Peking University in 1991, and a Master of Science Degree in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1994.

Mr. Hailong Xiang joined the Baidu Shanghai team in February 2005, working successively as the General Manger of Baidu's Shanghai Branch, and the General Manager of Baidu’s Beijing Branch. Since joining Baidu, Mr. Xiang has been instrumental in the development of direct sales efforts in both Shanghai and Beijing. From 2001 to 2005, Mr. Xiang was the General Manager of Shanghai Qilang, an internet services firm specializing in the sale of web development, online CRM software, and online advertising services. Mr. Xiang graduated from East China Normal University in 2000 with a degree in Computer Science.

Jun Yu joined the Baidu team in May 2001, working successively as the Product Marketing Manager, Senior Manager and Director, Chief Product Architect, Chairman of the Baidu Product Committee, and Vice President of Products. In his current role, Mr. Yu designs and promotes the many Baidu products that are specially tailored to meet user needs. Mr. Yu was one of the first search engine application researchers and promoters in China , starting a personal website titled "Search Research Institute." He has been studying search engines since the beginning of 2000. Mr. Yu graduated from Tongji University in 1997 with a degree in Chemistry.

Scott Walchek currently is a Partner at Integrity Partners, Chairman of Global Debt Exchange, and serves on the boards of directors of Palm Beach Capital Management (where he is a founding partner) and Ionic Fusion, Inc., a developer of nanotechnology for surface engineering, He is president of two media companies involved in film and music production and serves as a director for several not-for-profit community and charitable organizations. Scott also is a Venture Partner with the Silicon Valley office of ePlanet Ventures. Prior to starting Global Debt Network, Scott was founder and CEO of C2B Technologies, an e-commerce infrastructure company acquired by Inktomi Corp. in 1998. Prior to his success at C2B, Scott was on the founding team at Macromedia, where he headed up its product marketing and business development efforts. In 1993, he became CEO of Sanctuary Woods a publicly traded developer and publisher of interactive content. He is a graduate of the University of California at San Diego.
