R. Scott Smith, Jr. is chairman, chief executive officer and president of Fulton Financial Corporation. Mr. Smith joined Fulton Bank, the Corporation’s flagship bank, as director of personnel in 1978. He went on to assume a variety of positions at the bank before being promoted to chairman, president and CEO in 1998. Around this time, Smith also began to assume additional responsibilities as executive vice president of Fulton Financial Corporation. In 2001, he was named president and chief operating officer and a director of Fulton Financial Corporation. On January 1, 2006, he became chairman, chief executive officer and president.

E. Philip Wenger is senior executive vice president of Fulton Financial Corporation and heads the company’s Community Banking Group. He is also chairman of Fulton Bank, the lead bank in Fulton Financial Corporation. Wenger joined Fulton Bank in 1979. He assumed a variety of positions in the corporate lending area before being promoted to executive vice president of Corporate Banking in 1996. In 2001, Wenger was named senior executive vice president of the Lancaster, York, and Chester Counties Division and in 2003, he was promoted to the position of president and chief operating officer of Fulton Bank. Effective January 1, 2006, Wenger was named chairman and chief executive officer of Fulton Bank. He was also named senior executive vice president of Fulton Financial Corporation, the parent company of Fulton Bank, at the time as well, and later that year, assumed the leadership of the Corporation’s Community Banking Group, which oversees the operations of all of the company’s affiliate banks.

Mr. Nugent currently has served as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Fulton Financial Corporation since January, 2001. He previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Fulton Financial Corporation and is a member of the Senior Management of Fulton Financial Corporation.

Craig H. Hill is senior executive vice president/human resources for Fulton Financial Corporation. Hill joined Fulton Bank in 1984 as vice president of Human Resources. In 1989, he became vice president and head of the bank’s Capital Region division. In 1992, he was promoted to senior vice president of Human Resources, and in 1999, he was named executive vice president and director of Human Resources. He was promoted to senior executive vice president and a member of the senior management group of Fulton Financial in 2006.

James E. Shreiner is senior executive vice president and senior administrative services officer of Fulton Financial Corporation. Shreiner joined Fulton Bank in February 1975 as a member of the bank’s Management Training program. He has held various positions since then, including manager of corporate services, Harrisburg retail branch manager, and manager of operations including responsibility for the Human Resource function. Shreiner was promoted to executive vice president of Fulton Bank in March 1990 and was named a member of the bank’s senior management team with responsibility for the Operations and Information Technology functions as well as the Consumer Lending and Leasing Divisions. In 1996, he added the title of senior lending officer for Fulton Bank. In 2000, he was promoted to executive vice president of Fulton Financial Corporation. He became senior executive vice president and senior administrative officer in 2006.
