Dale Gunther has been President of the Bank of American Fork since 1988. He chaired Downtown American Fork, Inc., from 1999 through 2002, and continues to serve on its board. He was 2001-2 chair of the Utah Bankers Association and served on its Board of Directors for three years; he has also served on the board of the American Fork Chamber of Commerce and as a member of the Utah Valley State College Presidential Ball Committee. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Gunther's Comfort Air in American Fork. He holds a BS degree from Brigham Young University (1964) and is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School. A native of Lehi, Utah, he has lived in American Fork for all his adult life.
