Laurence D. Fink, Director since 1999, is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BlackRock since its formation in 1998 and of BlackRock’s predecessor entities since 1988. Mr. Fink is also Chairman of the Executive and Leadership Committees, Chair of Corporate Council, and Co-Chair of the Global Client committee. Prior to founding BlackRock in 1988, Mr. Fink was a member of the Management Committee and a Managing Director of The First Boston Corporation. Mr. Fink joined First Boston in 1976 and quickly became one of the first mortgage-backed securities traders on Wall Street. During his tenure at First Boston, Mr. Fink was co-head of the Taxable Fixed Income Division, which was responsible for trading and distribution of all government, mortgage and corporate securities. Mr. Fink also started the Financial Futures and Options Department and headed the Mortgage and Real Estate Products Group.
Robert S. Kapito, Director since 2006, has been President of BlackRock since September 2007. He is also Chairman of the Operating Committee, a member of the Executive and Leadership Committees, and a member of Corporate Council. He is responsible for day-to-day oversight of BlackRock's key operating units, including the Account Management and Portfolio Management Groups, Real Estate Group and BlackRock Solutions. Prior to September 2007, Mr. Kapito had served as Vice Chairman of BlackRock and head of its Portfolio Management Group since its formation in 1998 and BlackRock’s predecessor entities since 1988. Mr. Kapito also serves as President and a Director of several of BlackRock’s closed-end investment companies. Prior to founding BlackRock in 1988, Mr. Kapito was a Vice President in the Mortgage Products Group at The First Boston Corporation.

Scott M. Amero, Director since September 2005 and nominee, is a Vice Chairman and Global Chief Investment Officer for Fixed Income of BlackRock Financial Management, Inc., the manager of the Company (the Manager ). He is a member of the Executive, Operating and Leadership Committees of the Manager. Mr. Amero is Co-Head of the Fixed Income Investment Strategy Group, which is responsible for global fixed income strategy, asset allocation and overall management of client portfolios. In this capacity, Mr. Amero coordinates the Manager s team of portfolio managers and credit analysts who specialize in government, agency, corporate, mortgage, asset-backed and structured securities worldwide. Prior to joining the Manager in 1990, Mr. Amero was a Vice President in Fixed Income Research at the First Boston Corporation. Mr. Amero joined First Boston Corporation in 1985 and became the firm s primary strategist for short-duration securities. Mr. Amero earned a B.A. degree in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Harvard University in 1985 and an M.B.A. degree in Finance from New York University in 1991.

Curtis Arledge, Managing Director and Portfolio Manager, is Co-Head of U.S. Fixed Income within BlackRock's Fixed Income Portfolio Management Group. He is responsible for managing fixed income portfolios, with a sector emphasis on non-agency asset-backed and mortgage-backed securities.
Prior to rejoining BlackRock in 2008, Mr. Arledge was with Wachovia Corporation for 12 years, most recently as Global Head of the Fixed Income Division and a member of the Corporate and Investment Bank's (CIB) Executive and CIB Risk/Return Committees. He had oversight for various business lines in the United States, Europe and Asia, including Leveraged Finance, Investment Grade, Global Rates, Structured Products, Corporate Loan and Commercial Real Estate Portfolios and Financial Institutions Investment Banking. Earlier, he was head of Fixed Income Trading and, prior to that, head of Structured Products Trading. He joined Wachovia's proprietary trading desk in 1996. Mr. Arledge was a founding member of Mariner Investment Group in 1993, involved in fixed income arbitrage trading. From 1988 to 1993, he was a fixed income portfolio manager with BlackRock. He began his career as an analyst with Salomon Brothers in 1987.
Mr. Arledge earned a BS degree in electrical engineering from Princeton University in 1987.

James E. Rohr is chairman and chief executive officer of The PNC Financial Services Group, one of the largest diversified financial services companies in the United States.
Rohr joined the company through its Management Development Program in 1972. He proceeded through various marketing and management responsibilities in several Corporate Banking areas, including lending, treasury management services and merchant banking. He was elected a vice chairman of PNC in 1989, named a director in 1990, elected as president in 1992 and named chief operating officer in 1998. Rohr was named chief executive officer in May 2000 and chairman in May 2001. For his leadership of PNC, Rohr was named American Banker's "Banker of the Year" for 2007.
Rohr is a director of BlackRock, Inc., Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, Allegheny Technologies Incorporated, Equitable Resources, Inc, RAND Board of Trustees and the International Monetary Conference. He is a past chairman of the Pennsylvania Business Roundtable and is involved with other industry groups, including The Financial Services Roundtable. He is also a director and former chairman of BITS, the technology group for The Financial Services Roundtable.
In addition, Rohr serves on a number of civic, cultural and educational organizations. He is the immediate past chairman of the Allegheny Conference on Community Development and The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. He is a board member and former chairman of the Greater Pittsburgh Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He is a director of the Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy (CECP), Carnegie Mellon University, the University of Pittsburgh's McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine and is a member of the Notre Dame's College of Business Advisory Council. In October 2006, Rohr received the Woodrow Wilson Award for Corporate Citizenship, in May 2007 he received the Sesame Workshop Corporate Honoree Award and in May 2008 he received the Women's Institute for a Secure Retirement (WISER) Hero Award from the Heinz Family Philanthropies.
Rohr earned his bachelor of arts degree in 1970 from the University of Notre Dame and his master's in business administration from Ohio State University in 1972.

Linda Gosden Robinson is a Partner and Chairman of Robinson Lerer & Montgomery. Ms. Robinson provides strategic counsel to CEOs and senior management of major corporations on a broad range of business challenges, including corporate positioning, crisis management, public policy, media outreach, and more. Ms. Robinson's clients include leaders in a wide spectrum of industries, such as healthcare, energy, Internet commerce, telecommunications, consumer products, fashion, and financial services. From 1983 to 1986, Ms. Robinson served as senior vice president of corporate affairs at Warner Cable Communications, Inc. She joined the company as part of a management turnaround team that brought the company to a position of profitability and growth. As a key advisor to the chief executive officer and a member of the operations committee, the senior policy-making body of the company, Ms. Robinson played a leading role in creating and executing communications and government affairs strategies for the company and its operating divisions. From 1981 to 1983, Ms. Robinson was director of public affairs for the U.S. Department of Transportation under Secretary Drew Lewis. As chief public spokesperson for the Department and principal staff advisor to the Secretary, her major public affairs responsibilities included the 1981 air traffic controllers' strike, Congressional passage of a gas tax, and negotiation of the agreement for Japanese voluntary import quotas on automobiles. Previously, Ms. Robinson was deputy press secretary on the 1980 Reagan-Bush campaign, and subsequently the director of public relations for the Republican National Committee, and press secretary to Committee Chairman William E. Brock. Ms. Robinson is a member of the board of directors of Revlon, Inc., and BlackRock, Inc., and trustee and Vice Chair of New York University School of Medicine Foundation Board, and trustee of NYU Hospitals Center. Ms. Robinson received a B.A. from the University of Southern California, where she graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.

William S. Demchak is senior vice chairman and head of Corporate & Institutional Banking for The PNC Financial Services Group. He is responsible for PNC's middle market and large corporate businesses, as well as capital markets, real estate finance, equity management and leasing. Demchak also leads the company's asset and liability management function. In addition, he is a director of BlackRock, Inc.
Before joining PNC in 2002, he served as the global head of Structured Finance and Credit Portfolio for JP Morgan Chase. Demchak also held key leadership roles at JP Morgan prior to its merger with the Chase Manhattan Corporation in 2000. He was actively involved in developing JP Morgan's strategic agenda, and was a member of the company's capital and credit risk committees. He was named head of PNC's Corporate & Institutional Banking in July 2005 and promoted to senior vice chairman in February 2009.
Demchak is a member of The Financial Services Roundtable and serves on the Regulatory Management Committee. He is a board member and chairman of the Greater Pittsburgh Council of the Boy Scouts of America. In addition, he serves on the board of directors of the YMCA of Pittsburgh and the Blue Mountain Credit Alternatives Ltd.
Demchak received a bachelor of science degree from Allegheny College and earned an MBA with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Michigan.
