Bill Robertson joined Barksdale in 2003 in the Transportation Division as a Loss Control Specialist. Prior to joining Barksdale, his career spanned almost three decades in Trucking Industry working in MS, LA, and TX. He held various positions with large LTL and TL carriers. He spent his last ten years in the industry as Corporate Director of Safety and Human Resources for a large MS based truckload carrier. He concentrates his efforts in assisting our clients to develop programs to improve safety as well as improvement in driver hiring and retention. Bill is an active member in the Safety Council of State Trucking Associations in MS, LA, AL, and TN as well as the Northeast MS Traffic Club. He is a firm believer in continued education regularly attending seminars in both the trucking and insurance industries. He recently attained the insurance industry's designation of Certified Insurance Counselor. Bill, his wife Shelia, and daughter Erin are active members in St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Jackson.

Michael Bracken is a Jackson, Mississippi native, a graduate of Jackson Prep and the University of Mississippi, from which he earned a Bachelor of Public Administration degree in 1977. He is a principal at Barksdale and brings to our clients a wealth of experience and knowledge acquired over his many years in the insurance industry. Michael specializes in large commercial accounts, providing our clients with individualized programs that combine sound insurance protection, cash flow benefits and control over claims management. Michael believes in the importance of continuing education in the profession; he constantly attends seminars, programs and workshops, and in 1986 received the industry's professional designation of Certified Insurance Counselor. Michael, his wife Jennifer, and his daughters Kristen, Mary Margaret, Jessica and Parker are members of St. James Episcopal Church.

Nedra joined Barksdale in 1990 after being employed with The Travelers Insurance Company in their life and health department. She assisted agents and companies in developing benefit plans for their clients and employees. The employee benefits market is constantly changing with new State and Federal regulations being imposed on the businesses of Mississippi. Nedra is aware of these changes. She participates in insurance courses, attends seminars and works closely with various companies and professional associations so that she can advise our clients of these changes. Nedra and her husband, Vic, live in Florence, MS. She is a member of Marvin United Methodist Church. As a wife, and as a mother of two sons, Nedra understands the need for quality healthcare and for sound financial planning. Her years of experience are a valuable asset to Barksdale and our clients.
