Gregory F. Milzcik serves as President, Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors of Barnes Group Inc. Since joining the company in 1999, he has held a variety of increasingly responsible executive positions within the Corporation, including Chief Operating Officer, President of Barnes Industrial, and President of Barnes Aerospace.
Mr. Milzcik joined the Company from Lockheed Martin where he served as Vice President and General Manager of International Operations for Lockheed Martin Aircraft and Logistics Centers. Mr. Milzcik’s career has included experience in management, operations and technical positions at AAR Corp., Chromalloy Gas Turbine Corp. and General Electric.
Mr. Milzcik earned a Doctorate in Management from Case Western Reserve University, certificate of graduate studies (C.S.S.) in Administration and Management from Harvard University, a master's degree in Management and Administration from Cambridge College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Science and Technology from Thomas Edison State College. Additionally, he is a Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE), and a senior member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers.
Mr. Milzcik currently serves on the Board of Directors of Barnes Group Inc. and IDEX Corporation. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Manufacturing Alliance (MAPI), and on the Board of Governors of the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA).

Jerry Burris is President, Precision Components, Barnes Group Inc. He joined Barnes Group Inc. as President, Barnes Industrial in July 2006. Prior to joining Barnes Group, Mr. Burris held a number of senior management positions at General Electric Company (GE), serving as President and CEO, GE Advanced Materials Quartz and Ceramics. Mr. Burris also served as General Manager, Global Services at GE Health Care Technologies, General Manager, Global Sourcing at GE Industrial Systems and Product General Manger – Dishwashers/Disposers at GE Appliances. He serves on the board of directors of Pentair, Inc.

Christopher J. Stephens, Jr. serves as Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer, Barnes Group Inc. Mr. Stephens has more than 20 years of experience with Fortune 500 companies, including Honeywell, The Boeing Company, Allied Signal and Ingersoll-Rand. Most recently, he served as President, Honeywell Consumer Products Group (CPG), an automotive products business with leading brands such as Prestone, FRAM, and Autolite. Prior to CPG, he was the Chief Financial Officer of Honeywell's Transportation Systems business. He also held senior leadership roles at Boeing Company and Allied Signal. He started his career at Ingersoll-Rand as a member of the Financial Management Training Program and held finance positions with increasing responsibility over the next 10 years.
Mr. Stephens received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. in corporate finance from Virginia Tech’s Pamplin School of Business. He is a certified public accountant, and a member of the Advisory Council at Fairfield University’s Dolan School of Business.

Francis Boyle has been with Barnes Group Inc. since 1978, and currently serves as Vice President, Finance and Chief Accounting Officer. Signe Gates joined Barnes Group Inc. in 1999 as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. Prior to joining Barnes Group, Ms. Gates was with Axel Johnson Inc., where she was Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary from 1996 to 1999. She was an attorney with General Signal Corporation for 11 years and an Assistant General Counsel from 1992 to 1996. From 1983 to 1985, she was the Corporate Attorney for Tetley Inc. Ms. Gates was also a Corporate Attorney for Cummings & Lockwood from 1980 to 1983.
Ms. Gates received a J.D. degree from The University of Michigan Law School and a B.A. degree in English from Susquehanna University.
Joseph DeForte came to Barnes Group in August 1999 from Loctite Corporation. Mr. DeForte was the chief financial officer of Loctite from 1997 to 1999, and served as Loctite's vice president of taxes from 1988 to 1997. Before joining Loctite, Mr. DeForte was director of taxes for Millipore Corporation from 1982 to 1988, and the manager of international taxes for ITT Sheraton Corporation from 1977 to 1982. Mr. DeForte holds a BA in Accounting from Pace University.

Lawrence O’Brien joined Barnes Group Inc. in 2001 as Vice President, Treasurer. Prior to joining Barnes Group, he was with L-3 Communications, where he had served as Vice President and Treasurer since 1996. Before joining L-3 Communications, Mr. O’Brien had served 15 years with Pechiney Corporation within the treasury and finance functions in executive positions of increasing levels of responsibility, including serving as Vice President and Treasurer from 1990 to 1996.

Mr. Grzelecki, 71, is retired from Handy & Harman, a diversified industrial manufacturing company, where he last was a Director and Vice Chairman in 1998. He is a member of the Compensation and Management Development Committee, the Executive Committee, and the Audit Committee of the Company’s Board of Directors. Mr. Grzelecki is a trustee of The Phoenix Edge Series Fund.
Gary G. Benanav is chairman and chief executive officer of New York Life International, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of New York Life Insurance Company. He also is vice chairman of New York Life Insurance Company and a member of its board of directors. Benanav has more than 25 years' experience in the insurance industry. He has served on the American Council of Life Insurance and its subcommittee on federal bankruptcy legislation.
