Nigel joined Wolseley in October 2005 from the Rank Group, and managed the acquisition and integration of Brandon Hire. He was promoted to managing director in October 2006.

Bob joined Wolseley UK with considerable experience from BT and London Underground. He has overall responsibility for all HR functions, ensuring that HR underpins the company's ambitious growth plans.

Ian was one of the three founder directors of HRPC (Heating Replacement Parts & Controls) in 1975 and became Managing Director in 1993. Ian took on the role as Commercial Development Director in 2004 and is responsible for many projects within Wolseley UK, including the development of the Electric Center and William Wilson Plumbing & Heating businesses.

Mark joined Wolseley UK in October 2006 from National Grid Metering, where he was chief operating officer. Mark's primary focus will be to continue the development and growth of Wolseley's businesses in Ireland, Brooks and Heat Merchants. He will also complete the integration process for Brandon Hire, and prepare it for the next stage of its growth.

Mark heads the team responsible for the UK distribution network, transport fleet, and product management. He brings considerable experience to the company having worked previously, for PepsiCo, both in the UK and Ireland and internationally. Prior to that Mark was with British Sugar and Mars in various supply chain roles.

Matt joined the company in May 2001 from Price Waterhouse Coopers. As well as maintaining overall responsibility for the provision of financial information, and corporate mergers and acquisitions, he leads a head office team providing finance, treasury, sales ledger and purchase ledger support to the businesses.

First appointed to the Board on 1 July 2004. He is Chairman of the Remuneration and a member of the Nominations Committee. Mr Duff is Chief Executive of RWE npower plc. He spent 14 years at BP plc where he held leading positions in marketing and oil trading and was latterly the Director of Strategic Planning for BP Oil, USA. Mr Duff is the Chairman of the Electricity Retail Association and is a member of the CBI President's Committee. Age 47.
