Larry Smith has more than 20 years experience in the entertainment, technology and retail industries and comes to ARCHOS from On Command Video Corporation, where he oversaw sales and operations for the in-hotel entertainment company. Previously, Smith was executive vice president of sales and marketing at IntelliReady Inc., a start-up venture designed to provide integrated home electronics services, and prior to that was cofounder and executive vice president of Internet Gift Registries. Smith has held sales and distribution positions in the satellite and cable industry at companies such as Echostar, Request Television, and The Home Shopping Network and was one of the first employees at CNBC. Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Missouri.

John (Jay) B. Morse, Jr. has been a Director of AES since December 2008. Mr. Morse is Retired Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of The Washington Post Company, where he had corporate responsibility for technology, investor relations, treasury and investment functions as well as tax, audit and accounting areas. Mr. Morse is also former President, Washington Post Telecommunications, having joined the Post in July 1989 as Vice President and Controller and most recently served as Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer until his retirement in December 2008. Prior to joining The Washington Post Company, Mr. Morse was a partner at Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers), an international accounting firm, where he worked with publishing/media companies and multilateral lending institutions for more than 17 years. Mr. Morse is a director and chairman of the Audit Committee of Host Hotels & Resorts Corporation, and a Director of Home Shopping Network, where he is a member of the Audit Committee and Chairman of the Compensation and Human Resources Committee. He also serves as the President of the College Foundation of the University of Virginia. A certified public accountant, Mr. Morse is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Financial Executives Institute where for the past fifteen years he has served on the Committee on Corporate Reporting. In addition, Mr. Morse is a member of the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council and he is a past chairman of the US Council for Financial Executives of the Conference Board. Mr. Morse holds degrees from the University of Virginia (B.A. History) and the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania (M.B.A. Industrial Relations and Accounting).
