Dr. David S. Baskin is President of The Baskin Group, Inc., a leadership and organizational development training and consulting firm based in Burlington, NC. Clients include mid-to large-sized companies in varied industries. Dr. Baskin's professional work has focused on the development of leadership skills, organization development and sales and management development. His ability to combine a knowledge of behavioral sciences with business acumen has enabled Dr. Baskin to achieve remarkable results with both small and large groups in the process of corporate change. Previously, Dr. Baskin was a Senior Consultant with a behavioral science consulting firm in Greensboro, NC, and founder and President of Baskin Associates Consulting, Inc., an international human resource management and sales consulting organization. From 1986 to 1993, Dr. Baskin served as an internal management consultant and Training Director for Bear, Stearn's & Co., Inc., where he implemented a four-year restructuring plan of a major division, including instituting business and marketing strategies for investment bankers. He served on the six-member management committee of Corporate Finance where decisions affecting the department and the firm in general were taken under consideration.
