Andrew P. Sundberg, is the managing director of Consultex S.A, a Geneva-based international consulting firm he founded in 1972. Mr. Sundberg began his career in the U.S. Navy, before starting a career as an engineering and economic consultant at the Battelle Memorial Institute in Geneva Over the last thirty years, he carried out assignments in transportation, telecommunications, raw materials, food, metal products, publishing, among other areas. He was a consultant to the International Labor Organization, the United Nations Center for Science and Technology for Development, the United Nations Department on Transnational Corporations and Management Development, the West German Ministry of Foreign Aid, and USAID. Mr. Sundberg holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy, and a Bachelor and Master of Arts in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University, where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar.

Brad DeRoos was named Vice President for Research and Development at the WVHTC Foundation in June 2005. He is responsible for leading the Foundation's initiatives which are focused on developing and maturing innovative technologies for internal, commercial, and government clients with a goal of creating self-sustaining business entities. Mr. DeRoos has managed technology development for government and commercial clients for the past 20 years with specialization in the rapid prototyping of hardware and electro-mechanical systems for Department of Defense clients. The research and development efforts that he has managed span diverse technology areas from advanced armor solutions for mobility platforms to transportable communication devices. Currently, he is managing a staff of engineers and scientists who are developing state-of-the-art solutions designed to enhance business and field operations. DeRoos oversees collaborative software development for: manufacturers, law enforcement personnel, and technology transfer professionals; advanced robotic vehicle technologies for Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) bomb technicians and law enforcement bomb squads; and, wireless communication technologies that will enhance connectivity between individuals in military and civilian incident response scenarios. DeRoos received his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1979 and his master's degree from the University of California, San Diego, in 1987. While in the Navy, he served as a nuclear engineer on board the nuclear submarine USS Philadelphia which sailed out of New London, Connecticut. That tour of duty was followed by an assignment to the Deep Submergence Rescue Vehicle (DSRV) Mystic in San Diego, where he served as the assistant officer in charge. The Mystic is a deep-diving submersible tasked with research, rescue and recovery operations. In 1989, he joined Battelle Memorial Institute in Columbus, OH. While at Battelle, he managed the Special Operations and Counter Terrorism Program Office which was responsible for the rapid prototyping of new technologies for Special Operations Forces, the law enforcement community, and other government agencies involved in the Global War on Terrorism. He has numerous technical accomplishments including nine patents, two R&D 100 awards from R&D Magazine, the Bausch and Lomb Award, and a Who's Who of Business Leaders award.

Karen Hartman is the Treasurer for TSA of Ohio. She is a Certified Public Accountant who graduated in 1993 from The Ohio State University with a Bachelora s Degree in Accounting. She has been employed with Battelle Memorial Institute in Columbus, Ohio since 1992. She has worked in various departments at Battelle to include Billing and Receivables, Internal Audit and Corporate Accounting. Karen has been a member of our board of directors since 2002 and we are grateful for her financial expertise. She lives in Columbus with her husband and two daughters and their dog.

Peter G. Tsouras is a senior analyst with the Battelle Memorial Institute in Arlington, Virginia. For sixteen years, he worked as a military intelligence analyst for the U.S. Army and retired as a lieutenant colonel in the Army reserve. He is an accomplished writer of military history, having written or edited twenty-three books, including WARLORDS OF THE ANCIENT AMERICAS: CENTRAL AMERICA and GETTYSBURG: AN ALTERNATE HISTORY. He lives in Alexandria, Virginia.

Lester L. Lyles has been an independent consultant since 2003. Prior to that, he served in the U.S. Air Force for over 35 years, as: Commander of the Space and Missile Systems Center from 1994 - 1996; Director of the Ballistic Missile Defense Organization from 1996 - 1999; Vice Chief of Staff of the Headquarters of the U.S. Air Force from 1999 to 2000; and Commander of the U.S. Air Force Materiel Command from 2000 - 2003. Mr. Lyles is also a director of General Dynamics Corporation, MTC Technologies, Inc., The Dayton Power and Light Company, ANSER Corp., and Baltelle Memorial Institute. Mr. Lyles joined the Board in November 2007. He is a member of the Audit Committee and the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Committee.
