The Company has received notification on 24 May 2006 that Theresa Wood, wife of Andrew Wood, a Director of the Company, acquired 1,367 BBA Group plc ordinary 25 pence shares at 2.437 per share on 22 May 2006. The purchase was made in accordance with instructions under a Dividend Reinvestment Plan mandate. Mr Wood's total beneficial holding following this notification is 41,904 shares.

He joined BBA Aviation in October 2008. He has spent the majority of his career in senior HR roles with various large pharmaceutical companies both in the UK and in the US. He holds a BSc in Biochemistry and an MSc in Biotechnology and is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Sarah joined BBA in May 1997 as Group Secretary. Her responsibilities now include legal and HR matters. A solicitor, she has held senior positions with several international groups of companies.

Michael Harper was appointed a non-executive director on 24 June 2003. He was Chief Executive of Kidde plc until he retired from that position in March 2005, and more recently was acting Chief Executive of BBA Aviation plc until June 2007. He is currently Chairman of BBA Aviation plc, Chairman of The Vitec Group plc, and a non-executive director of Catlin plc.

Mr. Tookes retired from Raytheon Company in December 2002. Since joining Raytheon in 1999 he has served as president of Raytheon International, chairman and chief executive officer of Raytheon Aircraft and executive vice president of Raytheon Company. From 1980 to 1999 Mr. Tookes served United Technologies Corporation as president of Pratt and Whitney's Large Military Engines Group and in a variety of other leadership positions. He is a director of Ryder Systems Inc., BBA Aviation plc, FPL Group, Inc. and Harris Corporation and a member of the National Academies Aeronautics and Space Engineering Board. Director since 2001. Age 59.

Tookes II, 60, retired from Raytheon Company, a company engaged in defense and government electronics, space, information technology, technical services and business and special mission aircraft, in December 2002. He joined Raytheon in September 1999 as President and Chief Operating Officer of its Raytheon Aircraft Company subsidiary, a commercial, military and regional aircraft manufacturing company. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Raytheon Aircraft Company in January 2000 and Chairman in August 2000. He became President of Raytheon International in May 2001. Prior to joining Raytheon in 1999, he served United Technologies Corporation as President of its Pratt & Whitney Large Military Engines Group since 1996. He joined United Technologies Corporation in 1980 and held a variety of senior leadership positions. Mr. Tookes was a Lieutenant Commander and pilot in the U.S. Navy and later served as a commercial pilot with United Airlines. Mr. Tookes has been a member of our Board since April 2005 and is a member of the Audit Committee and the Business Conduct and Corporate Responsibility Committee. Mr. Tookes is also a director of BBA Aviation plc, Corning Incorporated, FPL Group, Inc. and Ryder System, Inc.

Nick Land retired as Chairman of Ernst & Young LLP after a distinguished career spanning 36 years with the firm. He became an audit partner in 1978 and held a number of management appointments before becoming Managing Partner in 1992. He was appointed Chairman and joined the global Executive Board of Ernst & Young LLP in 1995. He is a non-executive director of Royal Dutch Shell, BBA Aviation plc, the Ashmore Group and Alliance Boots. He also sits on the Advisory Board of Three Delta, is a member of the National Gallery’s Finance and Audit Committees and is Chairman of the Practices Advisory Board of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and of the Board of Trustees of Farnham Castle.
