Beam Global Spirits & Wines

Donard Gaynor was appointed Managing Director, International, Beam Global Spirits & Wine Inc., the world's fourth-largest premium spirit firm, in September, 2003. An industry veteran with more than two decades of global business experience, Gaynor oversees all international business interests for the company, from commercial and marketing operations to strategic partnership development. Gaynor is a member of the Beam Global's executive committee, and leads the organizations international senior leadership team. He also sits on the board of Maxxium Holdings, the global sales and distribution arm for Beam Global. Gaynor's team plays a key role collaborating with many global trade partners, including Maxxium. In 2005, Gaynor spearheaded the international transition of several leading global and national brands formerly owned by Allied Domecq, into Beam Global Spirits & Wine. Gaynor took responsibility for establishing offices, sales teams, and strategic sales and distribution partnership agreements in key countries across the globe. Gaynor is credited with helping to put Beam Global Spirits & Wine on the map in many countries around the world including Spain, where the company went from a double-digit ranking in 2005, to the country's number two spirits firm in 2006. Prior to joining Beam Global Spirits & Wine, Gaynor was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for The Seagram Spirits & Wine Group, where he managed international financial operations. In addition, Gaynor played a key management role in the sale of Seagram's global business to Diageo and Pernod-Ricard. Prior to his spirits and wine experience, Gaynor also served as a partner in the New York office of Price Waterhouse Coopers. Gaynor is a native of Ireland where he attended the Sligo Institute of Technology and qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He attended advanced management programs at INSEAD and the University of Western Ontario and is also a Certified Public Accountant.
