Belden & Blake Corporation is an independent energy company engaged in the exploitation, development, production, operation and acquisition of oil and natural gas properties. Our operations are focused in the Appalachian and Michigan Basins, an area which includes Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York and Michigan Basin. We are currently one of the largest oil and gas production companies operating in the Appalachian Basin in terms of reserves, acreage held and wells operated. At December 31, 2004, our total estimated proved reserves related to continuing operations were 285 billion cubic feet equivalent of natural gas. Natural gas comprised approximately 90% of our estimated proved reserves.
