Randy joined Berkshire Partners in 1996 and became a Managing Director in 2000. Previously, Randy was a co-founder of a privately-owned healthcare services company. Earlier, he served as chief of staff for the Assistant Secretary for Economic Policy in the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Randy was also a consultant with Cannon Associates and Bain & Co.

Richard entered private equity investing in 1981 after serving as Chief Executive Officer of FWD Corporation, which he took over during a period of significant losses and returned to profitability. Prior to heading FWD, Richard spent a decade in management and consulting, specializing in the turnaround of underperforming companies and often assuming an active management role on an interim basis. Prior to founding Berkshire, Richard was a partner at the Thomas H. Lee Company. He has been a director of many of Berkshire's retailing, industrial manufacturing, and transportation investments.

Randall Hack serves as a Board Member for Crown Castle International Corp. as well as an Advisory Director for Berkshire Partners. Since January 1995, Hack has served as a senior managing director of Nassau Capital L.L.C., an investment firm that he co-founded. Nassau Capital manages a $300 million portfolio of investments in private companies exclusively on behalf of Princeton University's endowment. From 1990 to January 1995, Hack served as President of the Princeton University Investment Company, which has management responsibility for Princeton's $8 billion endowment. From 1979 to 1988, he was President and CEO of Matrix Development Company, a commercial and industrial estate development firm that he founded. Hack received an A.B. from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Mr. Whiddon is the advisory director of Berkshire Partners, LLC, (a private equity firm), Boston, Mass. Currently acting chief operating officer of Waterworks, Inc. (luxury bath retailer), Danbury, Conn., a Berkshire portfolio company. Formerly executive vice president-logistics and technology, Lowe's Companies, Inc. (a home improvement retailer), Mooresville, N.C., 2000-2003; executive vice president and chief financial officer of Lowe's, 1996-2000; senior financial positions at Zale Corporation (jewelers), Dallas, Texas, Eckerd Corporation (drugstores), Largo, Fla., 1989-1994. He has served on the board since 2001, and is a member of the audit committee.

Marni originally joined Berkshire Partners in 2000 and returned to Berkshire in 2004 after graduating from business school. Prior to joining Berkshire, Marni was an analyst at McKinsey & Company.
