Dr. Colin Soutar joined Bioscrypt Inc. in 1994 and currently holds the title of Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President for Research & Development. Colin's primary responsibilities at Bioscrypt include the core biometric technology, such as matching algorithm development, and system performance, interoperability and security. Colin is also responsible for the acquisition, development and maintenance of Bioscrypt core intellectual property. Colin's has served in many Industry and Standards development positions, such as the Steering Committee for BioAPI, Vice Chair for INCITS M1, ISO SC37-SC27 Liaison Officer, CATA Alliance Chief Technology Adviser and a technical contributor to IBIA. Prior to joining Bioscrypt, Colin worked on optical correlation systems at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. Colin received his Ph.D. in physics from Dundee Institute of Technology in Scotland in 1992.

Mr. Khidekel joined Bioscrypt pursuant to the Bioscrypt's acquisition of Cognizance in March 2005. Prior to founding Cognizance in 2002, Mr. Khidekel was the CTO of IT security at Identix (NASDAQ: IDNX) from 1999. He led the company's development of the biometric and smart card applications products as well as assisted in introduction of the biometric industry standard BioAPI. Additionally, Mr. Khidekel designed and developed the architecture of the company's product entry into authorization and multi-factor authentication suite of products. In 1992 Mr. Khidekel co-founded Identicator Technology where as V.P of software development he directed software development in the area of biometrics, image recognition and computer security. He successfully led the development of the core fingerprint and facial recognition algorithms and imaging technology that today, is considered best of breed in the industry. He has also pioneered the leading information security products that were broadly distributed by major PC OEMs and large ISVs.. Mr. Khidekel graduated from St. Petersburg State University with M.S. in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science. For six years he worked in various St. Petersburg research centers as a research scientist and director of engineering. He also co-founded one of the first private software companies in St. Petersburg. He eventually moved to the United States where he was first employed for two years by Visa as a system architect.

Henri H. Tchen joined Bioscrypt's board of directors in May 2002 and has more than 29 years of business, finance and strategic consulting experience. Henri began his career in the finance industry in 1973 with Irving Trust Company in New York City. He left the company in 1977 and joined Marine Midland Bank, as assistant vice president, US multinationals, where he advised multinationals on funding their overseas subsidiaries and worked on financings of major overseas power and infrastructure projects. Henri then became senior vice president and manager US corporate finance for Banque Nationale de Paris in New York from 1979 to 1986. In 1987, Henri assumed the position of senior vice president and manager of corporate finance at Tokai Bank and was responsible for growing the income of the organization from $5.5 million to over $28 million. In 1989 Henri joined Dah Chong Hong Group in New York City and served as director of Strategic Planning and Real Estate. Prior to his current position, Henri held the position of Chief Financial Officer of Kingston Technology Corporation where he participated in the company's sale to SOFTBANK Corporation for $1.5 billion. Henri is now vice president for Synapse Capital, LLC, a financial management firm focused on investing and advising at angel stage of medical and high technology start-ups. Henri also serves on the boards of Liquidmetal Technologies, Inc. and Future Scientists and Engineers of America. Henri holds a bachelor of applied economics from the University of Brussels, Belgium where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, and an MBA from Columbia University.
