Biotel Inc. (the Company) provides contract medical devices, software and research services primarily used by medical corporations to satisfy their various outsourcing needs. Biotel holds three operating subsidiaries consisting of Braemar, Inc., Agility Centralized Research Services, Inc., and Advanced Biosensor Inc. Braemar and Agility sell their products, technology and services to medical companies seeking assistance with their various research, manufacturing and clinical research needs. Products designed and manufactured by the Company become components in the product lines of other medical corporations, while research services offered 24 hours per day 7 days per week are used to support the clinical trials of medical corporations. Braemar is the world's largest provider of patient-worn battery powered diagnostic cardiology devices. Braemar designs, manufactures and services diagnostic cardiology devices including 24- and 48-hour Holter recorders and 30-day cardiac ECG event recorders for use by other medical corporations in their product lines. Braemar also manufactures and services components used in fluid and tissue management, control, and visualization. Products include tissue extraction devices, fluid infiltration measurement and control devices, diagnostic equipment used in ultrasound imaging, and blood flow measurement devices.
