Stephen was named President and CEO in April, 2006. Prior to joining Birch, Stephen was elected a principal of CXO, L.L.C., a Dallas-based growth and management consulting firm he worked with since 2002. Prior to his work at CXO, Stephen was president of a network management software company and before that was chief operating officer of OpTel, Inc., a national provider of telecommunications and broadband services.
