Black Hills Corp. announced today the appointment of Anthony S. Cleberg as executive vice president and chief financial officer effective July 16, 2008.
Cleberg is a former executive vice president and chief financial officer of two publicly traded companies: Washington Group, International, a large engineering and construction company involved in power plant construction and mining operations, and Champion Enterprises, one of the largest builders of factory-built housing. Before his CFO roles, Cleberg spent 15 years in various senior financial positions with Honeywell and eight years in public accounting at Deloitte & Touche. Since 2002, he has been an independent investor, developer and consultant with companies in Colorado and Wyoming. In addition, Cleberg is on the board of directors of CNA Surety, where he is the audit committee chairman and a member of the compensation committee.
Cleberg grew up near Redfield, S.D., and graduated from the University of South Dakota, where he now serves on the board of trustees. He also completed the advanced management program at Harvard University and is a certified public accountant and a certified management accountant.

Mr. Anderson is an eighteen-year veteran of Black Hills Corporation. During his tenure, he has advanced through numerous positions of responsibility and authority, including internal audit, pension administration, risk management, insurance, financial management, and supervision of debt offerings and credit facilities. As Treasurer and Chief Risk Officer, Anderson oversees corporate enterprise risk assessment and mitigation, including both financial and operational aspects. Anderson holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of South Dakota and an M.B.A. in Finance from Arizona State University, and is a Certified Public Accountant. Anderson replaces Russell L. Cohen, who left the Company. Black Hills Corporation is a diversified energy company. Our retail businesses are Black Hills Power, an electric utility serving western South Dakota, northeastern Wyoming and southeastern Montana; and Cheyenne Light, Fuel & Power, an electric and gas distribution utility serving the Cheyenne, Wyoming vicinity. RAPID CITY, S.D., July 11, 2008 — Black Hills Corp. (NYSE:BKH) announced today the appointment of Scott Buchholz as senior vice president - chief information officer and Lynn Wilson as senior vice president - communications and investor relations. Both will begin their new roles at the close of Black Hills’ acquisition of Aquila’s natural gas and electric utility properties in Colorado, Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska.
Before coming to Black Hills, Buchholz was Aquila Inc.’s vice president of information technology and had been with Aquila for 28 years. Along with other information technology roles, he has been trained as a Six Sigma black belt. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bellevue University and has an M.B.A. from Rockhurst University. His responsibilities for Black Hills include business applications, hardware/software infrastructure, information technology operations, information security, voice/data communications and data base management.

RAPID CITY, S.D., January 5, 2009 — Black Hills Corp. (NYSE: BKH) today announced the selection of Robert A. Myers for the position of senior vice president of human resources effective immediately. Myers has been serving as the company’s interim human resources executive since June 2008.
Myers has been a partner with the human resources consulting firm Strategic Talent Solutions and has been supporting Black Hills with the Aquila integration efforts for nearly 20 months. He has served in key human resources leadership roles during his 28 years of experience with organizations such as PepsiCo, Target Corporation, Limitedbrands Inc., BankBoston, Metromedia, Reebok International and Devon Energy. During the course of his career, he has served as the chief human resources officer for three different companies, including two Fortune 250 organizations. Myers earned a bachelor of science degree, magna cum laude in psychology, from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a masters degree in industrial/organizational psychology from the University of Nebraska.

Kinzley to the position of vice president, strategic planning and development effective immediately. Kinzley replaces Maurice T. Klefeker, who resigned in August to pursue other interests.
Kinzley is a University of South Dakota graduate and a certified public accountant. Prior to joining the company in 1999, he worked for nine years in public accounting with KPMG in Omaha, Neb., and Ketel Thorstenson in Rapid City and spent two years with Sodak Gaming in Rapid City.

Before coming to Black Hills, Ketchum was Aquila Inc.’s manager of investor relations, and during his six years at Aquila, he held various positions within the energy marketing and corporate divisions including senior manager of e-business, weather risk management business development manager and senior issues strategist analyst in the office of the chief executive officer. He earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Missouri and an M.B.A. in finance from the University of Phoenix.
In his investor relations role at Black Hills Corp., Ketchum will be responsible for interactions with market analysts, investors and other financial stakeholders. He will begin his new role at the close of Black Hills’ acquisition of Aquila’s natural gas and electric utility properties in Colorado, Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska. He will report to Lynn Wilson, senior vice president of communications and investor relations, who will also assume her new role at the close of the Aquila transaction.

Patty has lived in South Dakota all of her life. She graduated from Mitchell Senior High and went to college at Northern in Aberdeen. Patty Haiar has been in the real esate business since 1992 when she obtained her salesperson's license. She worked for an office in Mitchell under another broker until 2000 when she received her broker's license and opened her own office in Mitchell.
