Blank Children's Hospital

Lozier brings a wealth of business and community service experience to the role including her work with the President of the Iowa Senate, Blank Children's Hospital, and the Chrysalis Foundation. Lozier is a Past Board Chair of the YMCA of Greater Des Moines.

An employee of Iowa Health Des Moines since 1980, Ms. Allyn is currently Vice President of Human Resources for Iowa Methodist, Iowa Lutheran and Blank Children's Hospital. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Dubuque and earned both her Master of Science and Master of Education from Drake University. Ms. Allyn is an active member of the HR professional organizations, Society of Human Resource Management and the American Society of Hospital Human Resource Associates of the American Hospital Association, is a graduate of the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute, and serves on the Board of Directors for American Red Cross, Central Iowa Chapter.

Bob Shaw has long been a champion of the underdog, practicing newborn intensive care for 25 years until retirement in 2003. Since then, he has pursued Master Gardening and volunteering through his church and serves on the boards of Blank Children's Hospital, Children & Families of Iowa, the Des Moines Area Religious Council Foundation, Planned Parenthood of Greater Iowa and DMIHN. His wife, Becky, is an OB/GYN with Iowa Heath Physicians. They enjoy music, gardening, and golf.
