Mr. Pignatelli joined TEP as Senior Vice President in August 1994 and was elected Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in 1996. He was named Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of UniSource Energy in January 1998, and Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of TEP in March 1998. On June 23, 1998, Mr. Pignatelli was named Chairman, President and CEO of UniSource Energy and TEP. Prior to joining TEP, he was President and Chief Executive Officer from 1988 to 1993 of Mission Energy Company, a subsidiary of SCE Corp. Mr. Pignatelli was awarded Independent Energy's Executive of the Year in 1992. He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of UniSource Energy and TEP. Additionally, Mr. Pignatelli serves on the Board of Directors of TMC Healthcare, Southern Arizona Leadership Council, Habitat for Humanity Advisory Board, INNCOM International Inc., and AZ Council on Economic Education. Mr. Pignatelli has degrees in Accounting/Economics and Law.
Retired Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Ryder System, Inc. Tracy Leinbach, 48, served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Ryder System, Inc. (logistics and transportation solutions provider) from 2003 until 2006. Prior to that, she was Executive Vice President, Fleet Management Solutions for Ryder since 2001. Ms. Leinbach is a Director of Forward Air Corporation and Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Florida.
Robbin Johnson retired from Cargill effective January 1, 2007. He was elected Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs, in June 2000. In that role he worked with Cargill's senior leadership team on public policy and communications strategies. Johnson currently is President of The Cargill Foundation and serves on the boards of the Minnesota Early Learning Foundation, Second Harvest Heartland and the International Food and Agricultural Trade Policy Council. He is past chair of the U.S. Feed Grains Council and the Canada-Minnesota Business Council. Johnson Currently is Senior Policy Advisor, Global Policy Studies at the University of Minnesota's Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs. Johnson joined Cargill in 1971. He was named an assistant vice president in 1976, vice president, Administrative Division, in 1982 and was elected Corporate Vice President, Public Affairs, in 1993. Johnson graduated from Yale University in 1968 with a bachelor's degree, did graduate study as a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University in England from 1968 to 1970 and attended Yale Law School from 1970 to 1971. As Senior Vice President of Health Services and Chief Medical Officer for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona (BCBSAZ), Gary D. Smethers, M.D., is responsible for overseeing the development of corporate medical policies and the daily administrative functions of the Health Services Division. In addition to the academics of medical policy development, those functions include: medical underwriting, medical claims review, clinical quality improvement, care management, disease management, health promotion/wellness, utilization review and provider credentialing. In this capacity, he manages a division of over 200 employees. Dr. Smethers also contributes his expertise to the development of corporate strategy as it relates to health services, and serves as a corporate liaison to the Arizona clinical community most notably the Arizona Medical Association. Dr. Smethers has been with BCBSAZ since 1994. A native of Pennsylvania, Dr. Smethers received his bachelor's degree from Gettysburg College, and earned his medical degree from the Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center Integrated Program in Phoenix where he also had the honor of serving as chief resident. Now a long time Arizonan, Dr. Smethers is well known within the local medical community. Before joining BCBSAZ, he served as the director of emergency medicine and admissions at the Phoenix Veterans Administration Medical Center (now Carl Hayden VA Medical Center); as medical director for Phoenix Health Plan, one of Arizona's AHCCCS (Medicaid) HMOs; and as medical director for Thunderbird Samaritan Medical Center (now Banner Thunderbird Medical Center). Prior to his career in administrative medicine, Dr. Smethers had an internal medicine private practice in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Committed to the academic advancement of health services, Dr. Smethers is a member of the American College of Physicians, The American College of Physician Executives, and has been a member of the teaching clinical faculty of the University of Arizona, College of Medicine since 1983. He is a past chairman of the National Council of Physician Executives of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association and is a member of the Arizona State University (ASU) W. P. Carey School of Business Curriculum Advisory Board for Health Administration and Policy. Nationally recognized as one of the leading experts within the health care delivery and insurance industries, he is often a guest speaker for a variety of organizations especially in the area of Health Promotion and Wellness. Dr. Smethers is active in the community at large, having served on many community volunteer boards including: Body Positive, an AIDS clinical research and services organization, The Phoenix Museum of History, the Glendale YMCA, the Herberger Theater Center, and Ballet Arizona. He is currently an active member of the John C. Lincoln Health Network Quality and Safety of Patient Care Committee and the Arizona State University Katherine K. Herberger College of Fine Arts Dean's Council.

Simmer also served as associate program director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Henry Ford Hospital and was the recipient of several Distinguished Service awards. He is a member of the Michigan State Medical Society and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.

For more than 14 years Hannon was a senior attorney at Greyhound Corporation, serving two of those years as the general attorney for Greyhound Lines-West in San Francisco. He began practicing law with the Phoenix City Attorney?s Office and Maricopa County Attorney?s Office. Hannon currently serves on the board of directors for the Arizona State Chamber of Commerce and Communities in Schools of Arizona, which partners community service agencies with schools having a large population of at-risk students. He is also a member of the Heard Museum?s Director?s Circle. He is an inactive member of the Arizona and California Bar Associations. In 2001, he was named ?Executive of the Year? by the Phoenix chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators. Hannon earned his juris doctorate degree from Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Neb. He has been an Arizona resident since 1975.

Mrs. Grogan has served on the Board of Trustees since March 2008. She and her husband, Bill, are the parents of three children. Clarke Gay has attended Grace Church since 1991 and has been active in many servant and leadership capacities since 1994. In 2005, he joined the board of elders for Grace; Clarke is the secretary for the Board of Trustees for GCF. He currently works as a Senior Project Manager at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina and has been in the banking and insurance industry for more than 29 years.
